I am 78 and got 47 right This is a memory test and I would wager that more seniors will do better than most young people given the general knowledge focus?
So did I. I'm 73 and it depends on your level of education. Most aging persons are not senile!! And if you watch some of the answers young people give while being interviewed in the streets, I think éducation was much better 60 years ago. Some people don't even know that DC stands for for District of Columbia and can't name any continent on the map , and don't even ask about a specific country! I' m not even a native english speaking person. Why do you imply seniors are stupid or uneducated or senile????
@@picholoup I did mis-type I mean't it was not a memory test! I agree with you but would add that being older many of us have lived through the events outlined in questions, visited many of the countries mentioned and have witnessed a revolving door of many of the luminaries too. I have always believed education is what happens when you leave school, university or wherever. Experiencing and observing life as one lives it is irreplaceable.
@@williamwaters4506 yes of course. But it is about seniors people who have not lost their memory. The test is more about knowledge we have acquired and seniors are doing well.
YT has some vids showing how little American college students know. One couldn't answer how many minutes were in a quarter of an hr? Who was the first president? How many states we have in America? When was the war of 1812? I kid you not!!!
As a near senior (I am 65), I gained 49/50. I am a retired scientist hence many obscure were in my factual "brain bank". Other general questions were very easy. This is a knowledge quiz, not a test of memory. BTW The Pakistan flag was a give-away.
I took the challenge in spite of being insulted by the "2%" claim. I did very well. What I HOPE I can remember is to avoid any other posts by The Quiz Storm.
Same here at 73. They do not really test your memory because if you never heard or read that particular fact before, it would not be in your memory to forget!
I don't believe being old predetermines the percentage of correctness, rather, common knowledge. I'm 70 and only missed a few and they were ones I had never heard of. Stop age shaming.
I never knew the answers to many of the questions. But every question about things I actually learned about I was correct and I even guessed correctly some I had no idea about because it was not something I ever learned. Not even in College.
I was pathetic, and it wasn’t a matter of me not remembering something. It was a batter that I never even heard of some of these things I think I’ll listen to a couple of more times
I just watched a few stupid questions. I question whether or not cliffs wear away due to weather? Yes, a little but instant erosion the correct term here?
i think more seniors could answer these than your average teenager. I am 90 and could answer alll but 5. this is not all GENERAL knowledge. and we oldies weremostly bettereducated years ago! not all old people have bad memories.
I missed 5 or 6 of them, but it wasn't due to memory loss. It was things that I never learned that got me. One example who in the hell knows that the atom was split in 1932. Logic would indicate that year since that was the closest to when the nukes were developed, but logic does not always work as, the can opener was not invented until forty eight years after the tin can.
These questions have nothing to do with memory, but rather with ones general knowledge. It's impossible to remember so the which you never knew in the first place .
This isn't a "memory" quiz its a general knowledge quiz. Look. This tests prior exposure not current exposure. Meaning it tests our ability to learn of things that we were exposed to in the past tense rather than present tense. I'm 82 and visit my PCP they now test my short term memory but NOT my long term memory. For example they'll tell me 3 things and to remember them. Then they'll move on. But before ending our little chat they'll ask me to repeat those 3 things. Well I have a lousy short term memory so sometimes I forget. However I then ask them to pull up a list of my meds on their computer and note the amount that I take. Ask me to repeat any one of them and I'll nail them all. Oh what's your address here? And I proceed to tell them. I also drove here from 20 miles away and its by far from a straight shot. Here's another thing. If you delve into my interest areas its unlikely that you will do better but very likely that you will do much worse regardless of your age.
Actually, the final scoring (not the question) is quickly covered so you have to pause just before it is covered: 1-25 Memory Loss 26-39 Decent Memory 40-50 Sharp Memory They do not really test your memory because if you never heard or read that particular fact before, it would not be in your memory to forget!
I’m 84 and got 47. Have tried it on my younger friends (40 up) and they managed mostly in the lower 30’s. T he really younger mob (up to 25) gave up after about 15 questions. What’s with the negative towards seniors title. Older people are not dumb!
1. Fun question to test one’s knowledge basic knowledge of various topics. 2. Hence misleading title of memory quiz - they are not even close to being memory questions - two very different things. 3. Extremely poor form to not state, before the start, that we had to keep tabs on how many answers we got right. To not do so… we assume the quiz has the software to generate our result at the end. Overall, a very big disappointment, therefore sadly will not be revisiting.
This is not a memory quiz. It’s a knowledge quiz. Ya can’t remember what you never knew. If you want to test memory, RE ASK the questions to see if the correct answers are remembered. I’m 74, and way smarter than the folks who made up this non- memory test.
I didn't keep score but I found this very interesting. However in my opinion it is not a memory test but a general knowledge quiz.
This is General knowledge. Not memory

Don't you have to memoirze your knowledge?
@@williamwaters4506 yes of course. But it is about seniors people who have not lost their memory. The test is more about knowledge we have acquired and seniors are doing well.
It’s not a memory test is it? It’s a general knowledge test !
You still have to remember the knowledge
I challenge that most 20 year olds would not do any better. It is about what you know, not about what you remember, which is what memory is.
You are SO RIGHT!
Agree got most right it’s a quiz not a memory test I’d say 20 year old would not do better.

44 NOT BAD FOR 72 RECOVERING FROM A STROKE
Wow! I agree with other comments that this is a general knowledge test, not a memory test. I scored 80% and am 75 years old.

Not memory test but school test test
Which study telly, that only 2% of seniors pass? I experienced seniors are much better with a variety of questions than the younger ones.
Missed out on 2 today. Interesting quiz - thanks
4 wrong but do not know how many questions there were! 82 yrs
Missed 4 today. Good quiz. Thanks👍

this is a very GENERAL test. what do the questions have to do with memory????

Wow! I listen twice i talk, i scored a whopping 80%! I fell much better now, it is all about LISTENING!
50/50
Thanks for the lovely quiz.
What does this have to do with memory?
Quite amusing as a general knowledge test
I'm 71 in New Zealand. Score 46.
very informative and interesting. thank you
What has this got to do with "seniors" ?
43 out of 50 from a 60+
How is this a memory test?
What I find good about this quiz is I learn new things when I don’t know the answer.
36= decent memory..which means the challenge is on!
20 answers are correct😅
i think more seniors could answer these than your average teenager. I am 90 and could answer alll but 5. this is not all GENERAL knowledge. and we oldies weremostly bettereducated years ago! not all old people have bad memories.
I thought the same. If an average teenager got three correct, that would be because they were guessing.
I got 18 correct
1.17 they gave the answer to question what's the colour of Pakistan's in the photo next to the question.
I got 29 right some were so easy while others I guessed.
40/50 Tyfs!
👍😃✌️🌩

I am 68. I did correct 17 only.😂
37 out of 50
It can't be a memory test if you just asking me questions I never knew the answer to in the first place.
What percent is considered passing or failing ??????????
7 mistake, better luck next time. EDUCATIONAL
46 and a senior!
These questions have nothing to do with memory, but rather with ones general knowledge. It's impossible to remember so the which you never knew in the first place .
42/50 or 84% Not too bad for my addling brain! 🧠
I missed 5 questions! Pretty good for an 87 yr old right?
How do you find your score?

I notice you don't say what a passing score is. And why pick on seniors as I don't think any other age group is going to do particularly well on it.
39/50. I don't guess any. I am 77 and live in New Zealand.
I don't know. Where does your score show? All In know is that it was less than 100%
42 @71!
I didn't get many wrong, maybe about 10.
Got them all but 1, I’m 70.
I scored 40
80 yrs got 32 right. I paused to understand the question. I don't know if that cheating.
46 correct, 85 years old.
I missed 10. At almost 73, I've had a chance to forget a lot.
I am 74 and I fall in the sharp memory category
42 at 70.
Klick bait to pull seniors in with a good memory and host of knowledge who wanted to prove themselves as 2%ers. Got 4 wrong btw at 78 years old.
i.could.answer.only.17.correctly.😊
Did 31 right out of your 50, not passing today.
Can't see the question

I answered 44 correctly
40 out of 50
Please don't say "And the answer is" every time you say the answer. Also, why show a photo of the Pakistan flag as you ask which 2 colours are on it?
