The band was made with Berserk in mind. The name 'Beast in Black' is a reference to Guts who is often called The Black Swordsman in the manga. The giant wolf in the art for the music video here is a reference to the Beast, the dark part of Guts that drives him toward vengeance at the expense of everything else in his life. Weird to think, but a solid half or more of Beast in Black's songs revolve around love.
If you like their style, check out also "Unlimited Sin". It has no official video, but the lyrics really sound like they can be both about Berserk and Anakin/ Vader from Star Wars.
