I remember I asked you a question about this last week, and you told me you couldn’t change the features of the terrain, and now Epic added this feature… nice!
is there a way to change/ add custom layer brushes / textures to the survival island landscape (or any other preset xxl island from epic)? can you show us how? and I still dont understand, how to make our own library of brushes / layerpaints and import them to existing Islands. sry, newbie here ;)
Is there a way to add grass on it? Also displacement got removed in ue5 and because this it dosen't exist in uefn too so This whole landscape mode dosen't really good... You need to make it look like with displacement with little props which is kinda annoying
So I don't get it. If I made terrain using the normal fortnite material i have to remake all of it with the customizable terrain to have different materials?
Im having difficulty getting this to work with an already made landscape. New material instance linked and shows in details tab but layer painting still paints the old textures
@@absolutelionel8854 Yes. Export your current landscape as a single file then re-import it and choose a new material instance (use new chapter 4 landscape) copy the XYZ coordinates from original to new so in same place then delete original landscape and enjoy your new CH4 terrain.

I noticed my PC runs UEFN so much better idk why but I'm not complaining
Same the game is a bit laggy but uefn works completely fine

you cant add anything to epic pre made stuff, if you want to go fully custom you have to make it yourself or you use the new customizable landscape
It's not allowing me to paint with any other material other than dirt I'm so confused
