1. Very helpful. 2. Your presentation style is very personable and effective. 3. I love your camera man, and he is very good... steady, knows what to focus on and when, has good instinct. Wish one of my kids could stand still that long.
Your camera 'man' is very sweet and doing a great job, concentrating hard on his work. Well done, little man! Thanks for explaining it so well. The diagram of parts was very useful. In CA, it is the law to add flow restrictors due to water shortage, and it is for the common good. Except I am very frugal with my water, and the kitchen tap restrictor drives me mad, it takes too long to fill a pot with water. So it has to go. Tip for Camera man - do more closeups in a DIY demo. Go up close to where the action is. You don't need the speaker in the frame, do 90% on the project, 10% on speaker as a general rule. Great job holding camera steady and getting everything inside the frame!
This is exactly what i wanted to know. Id no clue how to even get that tiny cap for the Allen key off ! Excellent camera work ! I could see exactly what i needed to do ! Tks
Your video helped me. I had looked for the restrictor, but I missed it somehow. After seeing your video I looked again. There it is. I too had to use a screw to grab hold of the thing. I yanked that sucker out. Now my faucet can feed a fire hose! Thank you.
I have the exact same model and the waterflow is worse that yours. I spent 2 hrs this morning removed the cartridge, but did not know how to remove the flow restrictor. The maneuver by drill machine is an unusual step. Will try it on my faucet. Thanks.
Thank you for this video. After 10 years, the flow restrictor in one of my bathroom sinks was so bad, there was little to no water flow. I tried in vain to remove it until I saw your video. Word of caution, don't apply too much pressure. I literally pushed the center-part of the flow restrictor into the pipe. I shot air into the opposite end using a duster, and by sheer luck was able to see and fish out the plastic piece with a paper clip. I might put in a new flow restrictor in the future, but for now, I'm just happy the faucet works again. (Btw, I did try to reverse-flush the pipe with vinegar, but after 2 tries over 4 days, there was little or no improvement.) Again, many thanks for your tip.
Thank you for this!!! I didn’t think I was going to be able to fix the flow and after this shoots right out! Had to use a screw also to pull it out. Great thinking! THANK YOU
Thank you for sharing this video. Your method worked out great. It is amazing how much more water flows out of our vessel faucets now. My wife was like wow actual water flow. This is how they should work from the beginning.
Just bought an allen + roth vessel faucet. Mine too looks like it is peeing with a prostate problem. I was going to return it, but after watching your video, I will attempt to remove the flow restrictor. TY
Nice vid, thanks for posting. To add to our common knowledge, I have a vigo vg03026bn. At 3:16 in the vid where yours was pressed in mine was threaded. Thanks again!
" looks like it's peeing" is an accurate description. I had both my baths completely remodeled three years ago and forgot about the low-flow faucets. big disappointment. The low capacity toilets however flush flawlessly and efficiently. I am on a well and calcium buildup is a problem.
my new kitchen faucet water flow is very low compares to my old one. The two water lines that came with the Moen faucet are skinny. Maybe now they restrict the water flow by making the built in water lines smaller?
great help -I worked until the removal. My flow meant that for 5 years I had no hot water as a instant hot water heater needs flow to work. thanks again
I have new faucets but in traditional style. Can you help with finding the flow restrictor on these. It's not in the faucet, I think, but in the handles. Maybe I'm wrong on that.
By completely removing the restrictor you run the risk of too mush pressure, over shooting the basin. Would it not be better to enlarge the hole in incremental sizes until the best maximum flow rate is found?
Good point. TBH I don’t have that problem but I do have a bit too much water flow. Full blast for us is about three quarter open so the sink doesn’t fill up too fast.
They sell a screen that you just pop in where the water comes out. My last sink, the guy who installed had three in there and I had hardly any flow. When I removed them and left one I was good. I’m thinking you can just add some screens and slow down the flow.

Love your cameraman! Very steady & has good instincts on where & when to focus. You 2 make a good team!
I do a lot of home repairs, so this is good info for me. Also, your video assistant did a great job.

Thank you! We were very upset with our new faucets until I removed the flow restrictor, now it’s great!

What a good idea! Even if you don’t use all the pressure all the time, you at least have it when you need it!
I have the exact same model and the waterflow is worse that yours. I spent 2 hrs this morning removed the cartridge, but did not know how to remove the flow restrictor. The maneuver by drill machine is an unusual step. Will try it on my faucet. Thanks.
THAT KID IS AN IMMACULATE RECORDER!
He's very focused.
🤣 He's dedicated keep em 🤣
Any kid that doesn't record vertical video has a bright future

Very helpful info and . . . Best. Cameraman . . . Ever!
Exactly as you described. My compliments to the camera person
Thank you! Took out the flow restrictor in my bathroom faucet and pressure is 5x stronger!
You have an excellent camera helper.
PERFECT!!! Thank you so much!!!! I was just fixin' to go buy another one because the flow rate was so low on this one!!!
Thanks, now I feel more comfortable getting out the flow restrictor. Now I don't have to say bad word
Thanks! Wrong faucet to help me, but loved watching that professional videographer you have!!

Your camera man did an awesome job!
Wow!!!! Did that ever help!!! What a pain in the ass before I found your video. Thanks buds.
Didnt need this video but i just love watching your content! Maybe in the future i will need this
Enjoyed your son's reaction to the peeing comment! Honestly I was thinking the same thing about the peeing even b4 u said it 😂
Nice vid, thanks for posting. To add to our common knowledge, I have a vigo vg03026bn. At 3:16 in the vid where yours was pressed in mine was threaded. Thanks again!
Worked like a charm. Thanks!

Well done and thanks for the tip. 👍
You are a determined man!
Thanks for helping me out
Thanks... Carma man did a good job as well.

It worked beautifully for me; thanks!
I’m gonna go do that right now 😝 Thanks 👍

you can adjust the flow with the handle!!!!
What is a brand name of this faucet ? Thanks
thank you!! worked great!!
Great but yes or no - you could have put in a screen instead of nothing? Or maybe a less restrictive restrictor? Would you?
Next time wrap some electrical tape around the jaws of your pliers to avoid scratches. Nice job.
Worked for us thanks
Looks like you should use both options. The one without looks like too much.
My tap shoots the water out so fast it goes over the basin ..how do I put a restricted on

I just did this and now the faucet won't turn the water off! Why?
I hope after a year you got your problem resolved. I'm guessing upon reassembly you inserted the cartridge 180° out of whack.
As a plumber i have to say :. THIS IS INCORRECT
Thank you!

Would be helpful if you knew the name of ANY of the parts. According to you, each part is called "this right here" .
bro are you breathing so hard for that little bit of work??? lol
