  • Discover the profound significance of *Jumu'ah (Friday)* in Islam, a day endowed with immense blessings and opportunities for spiritual growth. In this enlightening video, we delve into the *Sunnah practices* and *etiquettes* that every Muslim should observe to maximize the rewards of this sacred day.
    *Why is Jumu'ah So Important?*
Jumu'ah holds a special place in the hearts of Muslims worldwide. It's a day when the faithful gather for the **Friday prayer (Salat al-Jumu'ah)**, listen to the **Khutbah (sermon)**, and engage in various acts of worship. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday." This underscores the unparalleled status of Jumu'ah in Islam.
*Sunnah Practices to Enhance Your Jumu'ah*
    1. *Ghusl (Ritual Purification):* Performing Ghusl on Friday is a highly recommended Sunnah. It signifies physical and spiritual cleanliness.
    2. *Recitation of Surah Al-Kahf:* Reading Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays brings light to the believer for the coming week. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday will have a light between this Friday and the next."
    3. *Sending Salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ:* Increasing your blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ on this day is a means of attaining his intercession. He said: "Increase your blessings upon me on the day of Friday."
    4. *Attending the Jumu'ah Prayer Early:* Arriving early for the Friday prayer allows one to engage in additional worship and reflection. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever comes early to Jumu'ah is like one who offers a camel as a sacrifice."
    5. *Wearing Clean and Best Clothes:* Dressing in your finest attire for Jumu'ah reflects respect for the sanctity of the day. The Prophet ﷺ emphasized the importance of wearing clean clothes on Friday.
    *Etiquettes to Observe on Jumu'ah*
*Listening Attentively to the Khutbah:* It's essential to listen to the sermon without distraction. The Prophet ﷺ warned against speaking during the Khutbah, stating that even telling someone to be quiet renders one's Jumu'ah void.
*Avoiding Unnecessary Activities:* Engage in worship and refrain from worldly distractions. The Qur'an instructs: "O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah, then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade."
*Making Du'a During the Special Hour:* There is a moment on Friday when Allah grants the wishes of His servants. The Prophet ﷺ said: "There is a moment on Friday during which a Muslim, while he or she is performing prayer and is supplicating, will be granted whatever he or she is supplicating for."
    *Maximizing the Blessings of Jumu'ah*
By adhering to these Sunnah practices and etiquettes, you align yourself with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and open the doors to Allah's abundant mercy and blessings. This video provides a comprehensive guide to making the most of your Jumu'ah, ensuring that you don't miss out on the unparalleled rewards of this blessed day.

Salam Aleykum shaikh, thank you for this content, it really helps. I have a question if you don't mind answering. Is it allowed to close your eyes while making dhikr? Not during prayer but after prayer when you do some dhikr of Allah?
Also I remembered another question actually. Can you close your eyes while reciting Ayatul Kursi after fard prayers? So not closing during prayers but after.
Thank you for all you do shaikh and may Allah grant you good in this world and the hereafter, ameen
