I have that same pretty orange-y dye on my griffon, but they have a white tummy, tail and wing tips with mint green eyes. I love that searing orange dye. :3
I struggled to get gold with the beetle on that one, let alone do it with griffon. impressive skill displayed here, and such a clever use for the jade bot.
Keep in mind that these races weren't designed for griffon in the first place, and some seconds are wasted on having to reach a high starting point first whereas the beetle can simply boost on the spot to get rolling. If the checkpoints used the old flag type with the vertical hitbox, this would be much easier to do and would get a better time for sure, a lot of griffon's strength gets clipped by being forced so low to the ground and having to make extra adjustments to match the checkpoints. Also there are a lot of good beetle players as well as some cheated top places, I personally put little value in the leaderboard.

So if you're skilled enough to pull this off you can do it

Very well flown - aaand now I feel a temptation to check if I'm better at this on griff than beetle XD

It's impressive flying still, but I'm surprised that its only #77 and only made gold by 6 seconds.
