    I love this wall hanging and your instructions are clear. The only thing was I ended up with a couple of strings really short at the end so I had the cut them all approx 4 inches to be equal. It’s a shame as I really wanted to keep them long!

    • @wanderingspirit94
      @wanderingspirit94 2 года назад +5

      @@FireRi141 I would guess they are the two outer cords used for the spiral knot pattern on each side making a total of 4 short cords ... in this case, the solution will be adjusting the length to ⅓ and ⅔ when making the lark's head knot ... of course the 1 meter will be used on the inside part and the remaining 2 meters will be on the outside like this
      0 0
      l l l l
      l l
      (Imagine the 0 as the lark's head knot and each l = 1 meter of cord)
      I hope that was helpful

      @@yogenijalno7644 I did 110 inch per cord with 3mm, and my piece came out to about 40 inches from the rod to the bottom of the cord. I cut about 10 inches off afterward because it was just a little too long visually. (The design was accounting for about 1/4 of the entire length at 9 inches) .. I'd say you can safely go with 100inches, maybe even 90 if you want to keep it shorter.

      To finish the fringe just unravel them an inch or two and then comb with a fine toothed comb (this was for 3mm cord though so may not be possible on this 5mm?!)
