I’ve always been a fan and watched motocross since I was a child. I raced when I was in my teens but wasn’t very fast. Later on in life I became an airline pilot. Just by chance about twelve years ago I saw Chad Reed in the airport waiting for a flight. I went up to him and said I was a fan and wished him luck. We had a short but nice conversation. He is a class act. I am still a fan and now my son is also.
I loved Ellie's comment on the bike, "OMG I missed you". You can tell she loves the sport. Such a power couple in the sport. I believe Chad will be the oldest to start a pro SX race before it all is said and done. In a few years we will be blessed with another Reed on the 22 in the pros.

Chad you've inspired me to get back in shape and get back on that bike and run some local money races .. My kids never got to exp. the atmosphere of being at the races.. show them kids where hard work can get ya..

So COOL seeing the "CHAD", Back Racing. Only been watching "The Reeds", a few weeks, IK where have I been, didn't realize this was for WSX... Was good seeing "The Dunge" racing outdoors this season... So, ... I know it'll NEVER happen, ... but, .... SX, and, Outdoors ... a"Vet" class, the thought brings tears to my eyes..........
I absolutely love taking my bike apart and reassembling it with every single screw, bolt, nut torqued and loctited perfectly to spec. I'm an engineer by trade and my engineer brain is constantly looking at parts to see how they can be manipulated to make them better for me. I will test individual parts for hours before I use them as a full time part of my race bike. I have purchased or been given sponsor parts that don't pass my testing and won't get used even if I get them for free.

Nobody is commenting on how my guy pulled each individual roller out of the roller bearing and then greased them all and reinstalled without losing one? The hell kinda sorcery is that? He needs a raise.
