- Building supercross bikes and supercross tracks! Whats not to love? Excited to get a facility going again for our family and the upcoming WSX season! Next up the kiddons supercross track.
We're the Reeds! Chad Reed is a multi-time supercross and motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA supercross history, with 265 starts! After recently retiring it is time for us to start the next chapter in our lives and we've decided to bring everyone along for the ride with us on our new youtube channel The Reeds!

Maybe his crash was Karma for closing it? Idk all I know is I felt no sympathy for him after his crash where I used to

New bike is SICK, can't wait to see the Champ on it tearing up that new track. Kids are gonna love having their own private track. *Reed* came from Australia to Florida & now in NC. So you know our old boy is retired when he's complaining about the heat.

It was a jokey comment about him training the last 20 years in much hotter climates
Funny how some riders retire early, e.g., Dungey, Villopoto, etc., while others like Reed want to race forever. So cool to have your own track.

Yeah some of those boys burn themselves out I think, you can see how much reed still loves it, that to me is the biggest gift of all after being at the highest level for years

Would be great to see moto40 open back up to the public after Chads finished doing the WSX. I know having a private track for your kids is awesome, I'd love to have one for mine. I've been on the 22 Train since his first rookie race and continue to follow along. Absolutely one of if not the nicest and easiest going Pro I've ever met and awesome you only live 30 mins from me lol. Take care and good luck with training and racing.

I like the orange frame. Gonna have to get mine 23s powder coated. Looks better than the black frame.
Tate will do good on all the table tops, step on, step off, and doubles.
He just needs to learn, or figure out momentum. He's a fast learner. By the end of the year he will figure it out.

This was an awesome video, really cool to see your race bike being built , and Chad talking about the little differences on the performance was so interesting. Really enjoy the behind the scenes stuff that we the spectator doesn't know.
Reedy you are inspiring me to keep riding and have been a fan for a very long time. I am 49 and still ride tracks because of you bud. Keep up the ripping and your doing great with the balance of riding and with your kids progression. It's great to see your wife always involved and cracks me up when she messes with you. Great family!
I have a ton of respect for chad ...after losing a pro vert skating career in 1977 i really want to get into dirtbike but with the loss of the one year only indoor skatepark an not be able to do 4 foot airs in a half pipe that was gone...i had to find away to combine it with dirtbikes...enter this guys Mcgrath...so i studyed as much as i could..i was taught or shown half pipes by a 42 year old pro...this i was gonna have to do on my own...an i did but it took longer but still but there was something rewarding about learning to fly like Jeremy...an flying now like riding on the ground...Chad goo luck in 23...get holeshots an the rest is easy peasey...hah hah

Looks like my nephews KTM 125 2-stroke. He did a lot of blue and white stripes too. He runs it pretty well vs 250 fours. But has also BMX every other day it seems to so.

Track looks awesome. Would like to know what workouts you go through. My self being in my 40s I run a lot but would like to know what strength training and or cardio exercises you go through. God luck with your training and conditioning. LUke 9:62

orange frame is cool. KTM should just make all frames orange, stop the last year deal. and I'm assuming by the gloss finish that frame is not the factory finish, but some type of powder coat.

might as well have bought the land and put up a strip mall ................. with your resources could have bought some land and built the track or tracks you want. with more and more tracks having difficulty staying afloat. we need all the help we can get in supporting local public tracks and riding land. No there not! Buying a local track and making it private so locals can't ride. I can see building a pro track for himself and alike to be private but what about the kids that look up to riders like him?
He should have built a pro track and left the rest alone. How many kids would love to meet and watch Reed and friends ride? I believe it would motivate more kids to ride.

largest public track in a 3hr radius of central NC just got shut down. Good for personal gain, horrible for the local sport and any other youth that looks up to reed
the trend to private training compounds will gut the sport in the longer term (and MX bikes sales)

What’s he using in swing arm to scrub? Brillo pad? I’ve been using green scotch bright and doesn’t seem to give that look the pros got into their bikes frames etc

Just from looking at it, it looked like heavy duty scour pad (green) and Ajax bleach cleaner… but obviously I don’t think that’s what it was 😂😂😂

Red dirt is the best dirt. All other dirt is inferior dirt.
I think these practice tracks are the problem. The tracks should have huge crazy ruts and bad soil those are the things you need to practice. The perfectly groomed tracks teach none of that.
