What a great set up , the best I’ve seen I may have to come down for a look
Happy for you to have a look at our showroom in Oakleigh, Melbourne.
This looks awesome 👌🏽
Thank you for your positive feedback!
I am quite impressed by the simplicity of this set-up design. 80% is done within the trailer, which is helpful when setting up in inclement weather. Regarding the main tent on the trailer, I think that your metal pole set-up is the most appropriate method. I don't know about your trailer awning (or even if there is one), but typically in Europe, it is the awning portion (especially when fully enclosed) that takes a lot of time and is a huge faff to set-up. This is where I think that the attachment of air-beam/air-pole awnings are the way to go. No extra poles, simply zip onto the main part/trailer and let a dedicated electric pump do the rest.
Reminds me of the old European trailer tents. So simple. This is quality mind, very well done.
Agree on the air idea.
Bloody fantastic. That would be ideal for me
Looks good. Does it travel well on dirt roads? Airtight for dust when travelling? You’ve done well inventing this.
Interesting 🤔 👍
How long to put up the awning / Annex? Also, what about legs? (It isn't just on trailer wheels and jockey wheel is it!?)
Awning roof zips on to the rear very quickly, but then it requires 3 poles and ropes which can take some time depending on the ground.
Camper was designed to be stable without using the stabilizer legs. So there is no need to put them down. Yes, its only on the wheels and jockey wheel in the video and I sometimes setup like this for a quick overnight stop. But you can also use the stabilisers, which are the swing down and wind type. They help prevent it rocking around.
@@kerfton Gotcha, ta
@@kerfton Can you enclose the awning and does it come with a skirt, to stop drafts from under the trailer? Thanks
@@DougieLAwning roof and side walls only. The side walls can be used vertically down (to keep the wind out), or out at about 45 degrees to let the breeze through. There is no rear wall or draft skirt. We used to have an enclosed annex in the pricelist. But we never got any orders and so its no longer an option. After people see how big the internal living space is the need for another enclosed external space seems to disappear. Although I'm sure not all will have the same opinion.
hey guys, I have almost no sound.
I checked another video and sound was great, so there's an issue with this one.
Where do you store your luggage?
There are large storage compartments internally and external storage at the front of the camper.
Meanwhile, all of your bedding is saturated if you have to set up or pack up in the rain. No thank you.
Rain is not a problem. Just keep the rear canvas door closed if its raining. Its not quite as convenient, but everything then stays dry.
It’s called camping. Sounds like you need to stick to hotel rooms
Sounds like you've never set up or backed up in the rain@@Chris-sf2cp Wet beds are a bitch and meanwhile fridge and kitchen are saturated
