- I am opening hobby boxes of the new 2023/24 Panini Crown Royale Basketball until I pull a rare "Kaboom!" case-hit insert for our next NBA Playoffs collectible sports trading card pack unboxing/box break! Kabooms are some of the most popular cards in all of card collecting, and they can only be found in Crown. This year's chase is even bigger with Gold /10 and Green 1/1 Kaboom parallels! These boxes sell in the $550 range, and cases are around $10,000. Every box contains 1 8-card pack (16 box cases). Expect 1 autograph, 1 memorabilia jersey relic card, and 2 inserts or parallels per box. First Scoot I've seen pulled. Nice card! And, agree about the design. Not really sure what they were going for. And I do graphic design for a living. It was a perfect card before! Digging the new numbering tiers however, just can't understand the design changes.
These videos have become increasingly watered down and flat out disingenuous. People watch and followed your journey to see you rip wax and collect. Now you just do it for the $ and clicks. Really is sad. Instead of enjoying the opening and keeping cards you auction them off and have no real enjoyment while you open. Be better. Stop abandoning what got you into the hobby and OG watchers with this commercialized garbage.

Scoot is 100% a bust. When was the last time you saw a successful player who shot 38% from the field…that percentage takes into account his large majority of 2pt shots being layups lmao!!

the stress, four new products to open. i couldn't even imagine! No one of one should be green, let alone be a numbered card. They should be a neutral colour, black, white, some kind of platinum. That would increase the relevance as far as a color match goes. I mean even just match the one of one to the team....it's a one of one after all.

Pacman you’re the face of the hobby my man- don’t let these haters discourage you- I’ve been collecting from the early 90’s when you had to walk like 30 blocks to get to the card store or sometimes bike and hang out all day opening packs inside the card store- Thats where it started- You guys carry the torch today w the intellect and proper assortments. One of the tougher kabooms to pull honestly even though it’s a rookie. Kinda fell out of favor in Portland already. I’ve learned tho never count a kid out.

Kabooms are possibly my favorite insert, but green... green doesn't go with a lot of teams.
I love crown, but the OC of that kaboom is really disappointing.
What box would you recommend in your opinion to purchase to get your bang for your buck?
You can do a combo Jason Tatum/ Derrick White chase since they are both 2017-18.

Personally I think the Kaboom cards look a little childish. People love them though.
Kabooms are one of my favorites! Two cards I want the most are a Jimmy Butler and a Steph Curry Kaboom

I don’t understand how Panini can let one of their biggest inserts of the year all go into packs so off centered. Out of the 15 or so kabooms I’ve seen from this years product not a one is centered.
