Hi John Branch IV, I've sold all my lenses except for my Nikon 10.5mm Fisheye. Am I still able to get great photos with it? Some people tell me I've made a huge mistake, but I'm hoping I haven't. Thank you John Branch IV
John Branch and Taylor Jackson, you guys are my 2 favourite Photographers that I follow on RUclips. I watch almost all your videos and I must confess, have really learnt a lot from you guys. Greetings from Nigeria
This is the video I have needed for awhile, thank you for kicking off my wedding season with great tips! It would be awesome to see a video on composition next! There is not alot of them on youtube, and I would love to learn from one of the best!
hey man, loved the video! i just wanted to ask a couple technicalities… when exposing and using the tonal curve of the Fuji cameras, do you go for a high dynamic range or a more contrasty look? do you use a film simulation to have like a base look when you get to editing? i often find myself struggling with having a contrasty already made look at expenses of maybe blown up skies, or a flatter image which lacking the crispy contrasty look already.
@@jbivphotography Full-frame gang attack!!! Lol I think a combination of both is a great set for veil shots. This three poses just added a great combo for my upcoming weddings. Thank you. Btw I apologize for missing the last livestream, I was shooting my friends viet wedding. 14 hr day 😬 Keep me posted for the next one….
3:08 was the shutter speed really 1/4000? 😮 Or did you mean 1/400? I could only understand you had it 1/4000 if you didn't have an ND filter and it was too bright outside. But other than that, you probably don't have to have it over 1/200 to keep the image sharp because of little movements, because this is not a sports even where everything goes as fast as lightning.
Who's loving this new format of video? Want to see more like this?
YES!!
Yes! Love this style and tips

It is not a mistake if you are stiching panoramas with the lens for a wider view.
I think this is going to be the new trend. Honestly I need to make sure I grab a fisheye for myself so I'm not behind the trends.

I think you’re fine, Taylor. In fact you might want to go wider still and just stand within inches from the bride.
I use a 35 for this and get awesome results.
Love these and love the way you taught this with the iPad 🙌🏽✨

lol, great breakdown coach!
Thanks! I wish I had more b-roll of me actually doing it. It would really help.
Im so glad you didn’t go for the under the veil shots…something different 👏 🔥
I still think full frame can get you better results :V
😂
Great vid
😂😂 lays hating on my crop!! I personally a, not a fan of the under the veil shot. There’s not enough context so generally I think it just looks bad.

👏👏
def can keep iso down from 500 if you have 4000 shutterspeed
Nice.
500 iso is high? thats crazy do you always shoot 200 iso and everything on flash.
I don’t actually. I only use flash during reception. But I try to keep my ISO around the 500-650 range.
