    Blake whats up man thank you. You are a rock star. This technique is a game changer for me! I'm a new photographer 3 months in and this simple yet easily understood technique you are sharing connected the right dots for me. I've tried using presets in raw/lightroom, sliders, grading wheels, it takes too long! There are great techniques the other amazing youtube photographers are sharing but as a slower learner your technique helped me at my current level the most. I will certainly be working my way up your teachings here.

    Hi Blake, I have follow your channel for a few years now and I have noticed how passion you get over color grading and I have learned a TON about color grading and color theory from you. Your explanation on color theory is the best! This video is your most passionate. I still struggle with color grading myself. My images never really look better when I try to change the mood through color (with the exception of portraits). I have often had a difficult time finding GOOD colors to make a gradient and usually opted for curves for color tone and to keep it simple. Quickly sampling your gradients, I can see a vast improvement over the stock gradients or any that I have created. I appreciate the gift you created for us, and I will definitely try them out in my images. Thank you so much! Look forward to more in the new year.

    • @f64Academy
      @f64Academy  5 лет назад

      Thanks so much! I really am passionate about this topic. I think it is the most critical element to telling your story in the photos that you are presenting. Don't get discouraged in your process, this stuff takes time! Lots of it too, just practice, take notes, and start to associate with colors that you like. Your style will come.
