The Meaning of pet ownership. How pets affect our lives

I had to put down my beautiful baby girl on 5/18/2020. Losing your dog, cat, fish, bird is one of the hardest things that many pet owners will eventually have to go through.
I wanted to go ahead and just share the experience and tell my story of what its like losing the last pet in a series of three. I had 2 cats and a dog and my dog was the last one that I had to put down as a result.
I'm honestly not sure if i'll ever experience the same love that I received from "Mimi" from another pet, because just like human children, even pets have their own personalities that provide us true love and joy that cannot easily be replaced.
Owning a dog/cat is one of the best experiences anyone can ever have. To some, owning a dog/ cat is just like having kids. Pets affect our lives in more ways than not. They provide companionship, entertainment, and above all, unrequited love.
