I loved my TW. Sold it because I wasn't smart enough to NOT keep it wide open trying to commute. Great trail bike calm and gentle. If Yamaha made a fuel injected TW400, I'd order one today. You called yours farm bike. I called mine Billy (goat)
@@troll2637 wide open as in throttle completely opened full tilt 5th gear. On stock gearing you’ll be ringing it out at 60-65. It’s most happy around 45-50 mph tops
My buddy and I used to ride supermoto at a local go kart track and one day his bike was apart so he showed up on his TW and proceeded to haul the mail on it
I love my TW 200. We had to add hand guards and put on a different front tire. Once we got the trail pressure figured out, it was even better. I have to say, the area you were riding was beautiful. I love the Oregon coastal range and next time I'm out that way, I will have to take my bike and do some exploring. And yes, it is a mountain goat. Steading and capable.
I can’t even keep up with her on pavement. She’s more into bikes than I am. She’s ridden the “Death Road” in Bolivia, and followed the Dakar route in Peru. If you subscribe you’ll see our adventures.
Love my 2014 TW. I pulled the plug on the card, put on a supermoto front fender, small windscreen, and an xt225 Clark fuel tank. Incredible fuel economy.
@@GIDDYUPADVENTURES There's another yt channel. "Forestry Forest" he mapped it out. My days of mtb and hiking are coming to an end. I've had several motorcycles and the the TW200 would be an excellent choice for this route
@@GIDDYUPADVENTURES I was over there this time last year(pre tdubs) and stayed in seaside and visited all over the coast. All my kids say they’re moving there when they grow up now.
Yeah, I had lived in Texas for 30 years and loved Austin, but when I rode dirt roads across America Oregon was so good I basically went home and started packing. My ex wife didn’t love it as much as me. That’s why we split up, I was like “I’m not leaving this place.”
I ❤ my T-Dub. So comfortable and reliable. A true joy to ride.

"keep it wide open" means? I want one for commuting.

The lack of power is what keeps me from buying one

Oh and she road the TAT with me last year
There’s a couple videos of the our TAT experience on my channel

Only the rear is a drum brake. All models after 2000 have a front disc break.
You’re correct.
Great trails
We will be filming more there soon. Thanks for watching.
Ever heard of the Western Renegade Bike Route? Thinking of a TW200 for it vs. a mountain bike.
Where does renegade start/end?

I have a tdub and a rally 300L and I prefer the tdub offroad all day.
Simple, reliable, easy, capable off road. And it's not trying to keep up with the Jones'. What's not to like?
If that thing had a slightly larger motor, it would be better
The Tillamook Forest? Where were all the cheese trees?
That's an aftermarket seat btw
You are correct. I realized that after I made video.
I do agree though. The seat concepts wide seat is amazing.
Dont think that TW seat is stock
You’re correct
A+
All you MotoVloggers in Oregon are making me antsy to get out riding.
That’s why I make em! And that’s why I live here.
