- Hello again, we are weaning the lambs today and sorting out some cull ewes that have very little teeth left.
We are a suckler and sheep farm in north wicklow running 40 cows and 300 ewes with the intention of expanding in the coming years. I also do a bit of contracting and rent land for silage. We will be showing all aspects of the farm over time, the good, bad and the ugly. We think we are a little bit different than most channels. We want to show people the every day running of the farm and hope they have a interest in it.
I really hope you enjoyed the video and please subscribe to the channel and give it a like. We will have videos up on Tuesdays and Fridays and if it takes off maybe the odd Sunday video. Dont hesitate to contact me for more information. Thanx again for watching.
If you are looking for any gear or merch please leave a comment as we have no link yet but will have in the next video or two.

Might be nothing but the ewes could be lacking in minerals. I had that issue a few year back. All the ewes were going blind so i asked a wise old head. All got 10mil of minerals within a few days all back ok.
They all got a mineral bolus
What weight should a fella be butchering pet lambs and secondly do you know any lads that would butcher a couple lambs in Wicklow?. keep up the great videos
I killed pets last week at 750 they made 106euro
Why not run the front mower with a short top link while topping. Twice as quick
Mowers are for mowing and toppers for topping
@@jamesfox5245 Disagree with the one mower does a far better job cleaning out paddocks
@@mannionjonny695 maybe if your cutting it clean after cattle. We would normally be leaving good grass underneath so if you were running a mower up higher, it would be running idle.
Great video James 👌
