Creativity can be messy. I appreciate you showing where you create. I think you should not assume that everyone creates in a messy space. Some of us cannot create in a messy space and we find clutter / mess frustrating. It stifles my creativity. My space is still "real". Some "real" crafters do have clean, orderly, clear spaces.
As always, I am speaking from my experience and my opinion. I am messier than a whole lot of people. That does not negate your preferences or experiences. Or make you less real. There are hundreds of crafters that show off their spaces. I am simply offering something different.
I love that you toured your "imperfect messy" room. I am also blessed to have a dedicated craft space and recently was able to renovate the space and add on. It's a shed! However I don't have it decorated "Ikea Perfect" - that's what I call it. There are very few matching containers in my shed and I pick up items from thrifting and a majority of the pieces were items that people were throwing out. My chair was even a discard that someone didn't want. I like the "real" and I don't believe we get enough of this in today's world. Thanks so much for sharing. *New Subscriber*
I love your old Dream Box. There is is alot of room to woork with in your room. I also have a 10 x12 room except most of my space is custom cabinets for wooden stamps. Around 4,000 not including acrylic stamps. Does your room have a closet? I have shelves and they are full of more supplies and beads. I don't have a die cut machine but i do have a cricut that i have only used 2 times. I bought it from a coworker. The best thing i like about my craftroom is my really big metal desk. I am like you and i don't want my craftroom to look like everyone else's. Thank you for your video ❤
