I switched from Baby Banter to Engage 2.5 4116 for fifth pocket carry. I prefer more spring back into handle than liner locks provide ( liner locks only have their detent). Due to its size, the 2.5 slider to unlock is hard to use one handed, but I can accept that.
Hey there! I know I'm late to the party here, but do you think the BB and Lander utilize the same style of clip- as far as size and screw openings? Just curious
Yeah, I used to mention that on the videos but I've generally chosen to exclude cost/value because I've found over the years it fluctuates so drastically. So within a year, my thoughts would likely be invalid. For example, in the watch world the SNK809 was $50 a few years ago, it's not around $150.
Wish there was knife that was a hybrid of the two. Sometimes I find the blade of the baby banter just a tad short. My Lander is actually flickable, not as quick as the banter but almost as satisfying. Though I had to go thru 2 copies to get a good one. Think the quality control may not be up to civivi's levels just yet. I also wish the lander had a finger choil.
I am no metal expert, but based on my experience, as well as what I've read, D2 holds an edge considerably longer than Nitro V. Nitro V is tougher and has far better corrosion resistance than D2, but for me those advantages arnt nearly as significant as edge retention in a folding knife. D2 is plenty tough enough for folding knives and corrosion isnt an issue in the mostly dry climates I live and work in, so I prefer D2. Do however love my Baby Banter with its Nitro V blade.

Wish I had watched this before getting the Lander. Mine is really hard to open, think I’ll send back and get the baby.

9 categories for comparison but cost/value is not on the list?

The full size banter! It’s incredible.

i am generally fine with D2, but i have had corrosion issues (i live in the humid deep south)
These are knives Dylan Mulvaney would carry 😂😂😂!!!!!
You compensating for something? Seems awful insecure to be worried about your knife size, and also kind of dead on as far as the symbolism.
@DrunkWerewolf I have plenty of small knives. These two are just gay.
