I can only speak for myself as a Virgo man, so here it goes. I have dated a woman with a child only once, and never EVER again. A womans child is her #1 priority, as it should be. However, how can I ever expect to build a long-lasting, honest, and committed relationship if im playing second fiddle in your life. I want to start my own family one day, and im not the type of man to raise another mans seed. I steer clear of women with children , dating is already difficult, and a woman with children ups the difficultly X10. On top of that , I love children, so when i dated that one girl, I really bonded with her son as well. He was a wonderful child, full of light, and very intelligent, i felt so bad when things went south with her, because I really felt bad, when her son kept reaching out to hang out with me, and asking why I dont come around no more. It was personally more heartbreaking for me to have to withdraw from him than it was to withdraw from her.

I was apprehensive of the relationship at first but decided to go forward. he is 14 years older than me. I’m in my 30s single mom of 2. We dated 18 months then broke up. He told me that he wasn’t ready to be a step father. (He has no kids) I respected the decision and tried to move on but he kept coming back and leaving. After about 1.5 years time of on and off time, he came back in 2022 and said he came to his senses and was ready to be with me. We dated 7 months this year. Weekly dated, txt and calls 4-5 times a week, birthday dinners, you name it. I thought things were going well until last month he started acting distant.
