Convertible Mustangs are The Best! That said, Ford is missing out on the performance convertible Mustangs. They used to make a convertible Cobra ('03) Mustang - IIRC. Would be awesome if Shelby could make a retractible hard top "super speed 5.0" Mustang. This is a good effort. I wish he would have shown how easy or difficult it is to put the top back up, though. Looks interesting - maybe even functional.

Dude, I was relieving my youth flying around those corners, thought they looked familiar and realized you were by my childhood home. I've taken those same corners in my 1st car a souped up camaro and years later in my bad ass 2005 Mustang many many times. You drove right by my Mom & Dad's house, then by my Junior High School, so cool!
I like the cover on that convertible. Pretty neat! Should have reviewed one of the pickups also or do a quick walk around of the other vehicles they had there.

Joe how do they make it look like a speedster? Are they able to do that just for the convertible gt? The perfect setup for will be to have a GT350(R) speedster with those modifications but I would leave it NA. Only thing I would add is the digital gauge cluster. You think this is something Shelby American can do?
I saw that too but if you look closely you can see him throwing whatever he picked up at him. And you can see him flinch because he threw something at him.

How do you put the roof on? Is the roof automatic? Is it inside? Where is it? You can’t drive around in a Shelby with no roof, especially in Florida.

Technically the Bullitt had it first in 2018 which is very similar to the Mach 1.

Did they change the V8 platform for the new Shelbys from a supercharged 5.2L V8 to the coyote supercharged 5.0L V8?
The Shelby Super Snakes since 2015 have had the Coyote engine.

Yes, side windows are working, and 3 piece construction allows you to close the soft top with in 30 seconds.

It's hard to say. If you want unique and the highest level of performance for Shelby American sure.
