I think there was too much focus on Krakow. For a variety, the second film could represent other regions. For completeness, also several outfits of the upper social classes (middle-class nobility or magnates) could be presented. The video contains very basic but useful knowledge 😁
I believe only in Poland hun! There are few shops here in Cracow where you could buy these handmade which is amazing. Wouldn't recommend getting online as they may be just cheaply made copies X
Hi Bartosz, not sure what you mean :) Polish national costumes vary by region I simply focused on one but there are many many more. This video just covered simple facts based on Malopolska. Polish national costume is in fact folk costume. Feel free to email me if you have some more info on this! I would love to learn more anyways 🤗
@@f4dreams oh, I meant that they're local costumes, which I adore, don't get me wrong! However, our national costume/gown would be żupan with a kontusz and a Persian belt. Now, what you shown are actually national dresses from Poland but not *the* Polish national costume if you know what I mean.
@@bartosznaswiecie1179 of course :) this was just a project for my university to show a little bit of culture to students from other parts of the world so it had to be very basic and simple in under 10 minutes! 😁 I only wanted to focus on one folk costume as it would be easier and also found lots of examples from that particular area. Would love to explore the topic in more details of course
@@f4dreams of course, that's the most representative of Polish folk costumes! I just pointed out that we have a costume that binds together all classes, coming from aristocracy all the way through to villagers and it isn't bound to one specific location. I do not wish to demean your work, just clarifying this for foreigners watching this who cannot find information on Polish gowns as simply as us.
Wonderful and truly, Polish history is unique.
The Krakowiak is such a happy dance to watch! Thanks for the video!
I love dressing up in that for my recitals and festivals and my vest is from actually Poland
Najładniejszy i najbogatszy to chyba jednak strój łowicki....
I loved this! I have been searching for my fashion roots. I see them now.
Thank you Ranita

#geetvlogs Amazing Vlogs
Funnily enough Polish national clothes weren't shown in the video a single time. It was all local folk costumes.
