this set was legit and sounded legit as fuck. I liked the way heart shaped box was mixed and seemed a bit slower and bassier. I love it like that. its more Gothic sounding.

Howard brought me here, since usually Howard stern is so stern in his judgment of covers and gave a really good review I thought I would check this out. Personally, I don't particularly care for the style of these covers at all. But I will definitely say the passion and love for the music is there, you don't miss a beat in that aspect. Otherwise, the justice and quality of these covers I simply wouldn't buy for a dollar. With that being said; others might like it, this cover made me realize the sound of Kurt's voice actually played a huge role in the popularity/success and overall sound quality of these songs. I feel like if another person (like Post Malone) were singing these songs the band wouldn't have even been close to, or even half of the iconic legend they came to be. Sorry Post-y, you seem like a really cool dude, but the only thing I enjoyed in these covers was Travis barkers on-point confident drumming, that was perfect for me. Otherwise, very mediocre and again that's just my opinion so take it for what it's worth. Others might completely disagree with me and think that these are best covers ever. A fair amount of the time opinions are mostly only valuable to the one giving them unless it's genuinely asked of from a 3rd party. In which this case it isn't, so it is what it is fam!
