I always forget that Ethiopia is Christian and Orthodox. How beautiful, I've heard Ethiopia is a beautiful country but that it has been in civil war for a long time. I always heard there was a coup in one of the churches. I hope your country finds the peace it deserves. I'd imagine the American empire is trying to control your government and start wars like they do all over the world like Russian and Ukraine.

Beautifully Done! I read the book "Wounded by Love" some years ago and fell in love with this beautiful Saint. I read this to my children and they loved it as well. We marveled that in the book it spoke of how Saint Porphyrios did not know the meaning of laziness. I pray to him often for my grown children. Just the remembrance of his name warms my heart with love. Pray to God for us St. Porphyrios.
Such a sweet and lovable saint. The only time I ever saw Mouth Athos from a boat, I could only think of him as a small boy desperately wabting to be with God. It was marvelous! . May saint Profirie's prayers melt our hearts..forever!
How blessed is our church, not only do we have the living priests but we are blessed with the saints who although passed on are our priests who are more alive in Christ Jesus.

It's hard to imagine these monks that are so close to God that miracles are an everyday occurrence. So inspiring!

This is true in the last decades a lot of saints have shown on this earth and they still help us from Heaven.
