The record was produced and recorded by CARNIFEX and Mick Kenney (ANAAL NATHRAKH, BLEEDING THROUGH), and co-produced by Jason Suecof (DEATH ANGEL, CHELSEA GRIN, JOB FOR A COWBOY). Slow Death was mixed by Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, DEICIDE) at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida. Cover art for the album was created by renowned artist and longtime collaborator, Godmachine.
"Album number six, over 10 years as a band and we have more fire and passion than ever," comments vocalist Scott Ian Lewis. That black metal influence is killing me, man. Love it.
Loving the Black Metal influence. I knew Blackened Deathcore would be the next big phase.
I didn't like this song at first at all and started thinking Carnifex was going downhill, until I listened to it another few times.
That die without hope reference tho....
I remember when I discovered Deathcore 7 years ago, when a friend introduced me to Whitechapel. Several years later I found out this awesome band... It has become a part of me now... I just love it so much and it has helped me a lot on my bad times along with other good music. I was so closed to just listenting several music genres, like rap, blues, country, jazz, metal and rock, and wouldn't even try anything else. Ever since I found this kind of music... It's just so disenthral and liberating.
i saw it was Carnifex instantly clicked and instantly loved it.
Topping "Die Without Hope" is going to be extremely hard. "Where The Light Dies" is my favorite song of all time right now.

as a power/heavy metal listener this is definetly something new..
This video is one of the best I've ever seen.
Saw them live last month. So far it was the best concert.
Deathcore actually release a lot good music this year.
