I just said something similar. But when you see Matt fighting Joshua he makes Matt look small!
I've had the privilege of knowing Matt personally since he was 16 and when he was 18 he was on the front cover of a body building magazine as arguably the biggest 18 year old in the country! This is how big he was.... when he took up boxing he had to lose nearly 4 stones and even then he was nearly 17 stones!!! I saw him last week for a chat and he had put on a bit of timber and was about 22/23 stones but he can still move like a middle weight though!

@@davejenko I think that you're about right mate I know that he fought when he was as little as 15 and a half stone but it just goes to show you how big AJ is! Matt's 6'2 and ajs 6'6 and 18stones at his lightest!

Great video Matt and Paul - Straight away you can spot the difference in the power of the punches - With all the usual arguments that are so frequently posted on RUclips between so many other fighters it’s great to see two fighters actually showing mutual respect for each other - Well done lads it’s definitely the way to teach the youngsters how to behave towards others❤️🙏❤️

As much as I enjoyed the sparing, I actually think my favourite bit of the video was the honest analysis of the spare by both of you straight after you sparred. It was really good to see the obvious level of understanding and how you both figured out a game plan even for a spar and discussed it afterwards it shows the level of professionalism that got you both to the level you did in your chosen sports. I found it all really interesting thank the pair of you!

Whilst I agree, I have to say it’s no match for the sound of a snooker ball slamming into the pocket! Especially if it’s you that’s just knocked in a screamer!

For all Matt has accomplished in his life , it's just the man he is that i admire most. Always thinking of others , always thinking what can i do for you to make things better and wants nothing in return. Here i am just a nobody and i get the benefit of being inspired by Matt in so many ways and i don't know if he ever intended it this way but i can't help but be inspired to be a man like Matt who gives gives gives and hasn't a thought of getting anything in return. A good left hook off Matt you wouldn't want to take but i'd be open any day to shake his right hand. Wishing the best , good health and happiness to Matt , his family and friends.❤

Silky smooth and fast Matt! Very impressed with Paul too and his attitude. The difference between a kick boxing and boxing base is huge, starting with the stance. Paul took all your advice on board and this was lovely to watch mate!

Great sparring guy's. Nothing like a tough few rounds of sparring to get the heart rate up and keep you sharp. Not done it for a while, I miss the sick feeling during it and the sudden sore jaw in the car on the way home.😮 great stuff
