Going 7 was a risk for them - by doing this he created a TON of interest and drama and had a good way to back out in the event that there wasn't positive fan reaction to any of the members or the idea of the 7 member group. On one hand I really hate it but on the other ... I have personally never been invested as much in a group pre-debut than this and am super geeked for when they do debut! Love the reactions!

Honestly, as much as Im an ot7 fan i was kinda lowkey excited for his plans for rora and asa. Rora is such a vocal phenom that Id rather see her in an old school singing group. Rora singing just hits different. While also im excited to see Asa lead a different group. Worth noting too that the 2 girls seem to be closest to each other. And we rarely saw them in their tiktok videos

But as long as YG does their best with this group and gives fairness to all of them then I know they’ll all grow with so much potential as one. YG must have announced to them that they all will debut together as 7 members and that shit make them cry in the video of last evaluation teaser🙂. As you can see here, Ruka was stated as 20 years old that’s mean this decision might have happen not far after their last evaluation day.😂

To be honest I didn't watch any episodes because I was still healing from Boys Planet but from the small clip I saw of this show, I knew it was a set up to get the fans hooked. There was no way they were announcing a 7 member group for the longest time and all of a sudden decide they only wanted 5. So I knew at the last possible second YG was gonna pull a uno reverse card and come up with some excuse for all seven member to debut without making it seem like it was gonna be like that from the very beginning. I'm happy for the members but these companies need to stop playing with our heart string lmao.
If asa didn't debuted with babymonster she could've broke the whole kpop industry as a soloist 🔥☄. Ik yg said he wanted her in a Japanese group but soloist is much better

Language lesson is a crucial part of the training system since Pharita was chosen over Rora and Asa for her fluency in English. 5. YG didn't want to waste her effort of giving Rora her name since he planned to make her standout with the next YG girl group to debut (or Black Label girl group). 6.
