Austin, in the 80's, hanging at the Lunch, The Beach, Tx. Union, Cactus Cafe, The Backroom, The Continental Club, The Opry House, Antones, and The Hole in the Wall. I feel really lucky to have seen the Troobs numerous times along with Zeitgeist/The Reivers, The Rattlecats, Glass Eye, and so many others. Fun times.
Grandissima performance...un vero peccato non essere stato lì di persona.. Grandi tutti, i fratelli Escovedo, ecc. e un saluto particolare a John Dee Graham che ho conosciuto in quel di Firenze qualche anno fa.
pretty good. A little off key in the vocals and the drums are behind the music, the guitar needs to be more in front and with more lead but you know it's cool..
uuuuuhhhhh...... dude......... really? I guess nobody in these comments are musicians....... or not good ones anyways. I'm sorry, but I like to speak truth to power. This is......... pretty much that...... that's the feeling I got listening to it. nothing. Good drunk people at the bar music. not a whole lot of creativity, just loud drunk music.
sloppy and unfocused and generally shite performance, i know you guys are all middle aged and havent played in forever (excet for Alejandro) so why are they all taking turns on vocals when on the record it certainly doesn't sound that way? the one performance of theirs on here and they have to pull this? disapointing.
Dan Wheeler its not round robin! ... they trade vocals because that's who sang those songs ... signature songs for each. If you ever saw these guys in their prime ... this creaky performance would be a wonderful revisit to the good ole days! Its amazing to see them still rockin' those great songs ... There was nothing like a Troobs show back in the day.
thumbs up if these guys rocked your ass off, live in the 80's!
the greatest rock band most rock fans have never heard of.
Right up there with the Ling Ryders.
Phenomenal and quintessential. Thank you for posting.

No worse than the stones, w/less than a fraction of the $$live sound Rig$$
PubliComa Stones sound better imo even if it is looser than the studio records.
man is this necessary?
Is anything really necessary?
