Time will tell... Question is : is there really a demand for more that many blockchains? My guess is NO, if there was adoption would be full send by now if it was. Its all running on eth and its L2s really. Other chains are mostly staking nfts empty traffic. So. E company's pick avalanche but most want run on centralized blockcheis as it is company and cant put faith of their business on some random validators. I closly follow developments but so far nothing really promising other than community fomo and hype. Any company thinking about blovkchain is better off to develop its own centralized and runing for purpose they build. Decentralization isnt for companys and institutions. What I like from this video is the main goal: neutral speaking /analysis. I like the idea of you talking about other projects outside Cosmos. That gives you also a broader visión and tbh, it is refreshing. 😉👍
Great overview - I agree all three projects have a lot of promise and offer interoperability. Are Cosmo and Dot able to setup regulatory compliant chains? I know AVAX is focused on public and private subnets wondering how the others are approaching this?
So for now polkadot has more stuff driving up the price for the token but soon cosmos will have the same? Will it be a big narrative to even use this parachains? Im noob sry

@@lordPix3lUKcosmos moving to shared security now? Canary network? All the things cosmos guys have been bashing for years then they go and follow. Mate it's behind in thinking. ICS will be an option, not mandatory, right? So the question is, except the newer & smaller projects, why would projects use it instead of their network of validators and increasing the value of their token?
It's not mandatory at all. Setting up a validator set is super difficult. You need to pitch them, build your own val infra, coordinate upgrades, somehow ensure decentralization and so on. Renting Cosmos Hub security means that new projects can go to market much faster and skip the hassle of doing the above
@@cryptocito Sure, would be much faster, but that would decrease the value of their token, which they would need to raise funds to rent the shared security. So I see the value of that, but not sure it's a killer application. I assume would be mostly like a launchpad ?

All these are good, but I see one stand out and that is Polkadot because of it's shared security. It also has the most developers and labels it self a software. Because of how it's built from the base it's really future proof. If it will have the most potential money making wise, I don't know, but after 2022 and all the scams, I'm going with security forward.
@@cryptocito I just checked the link and I wonder why Polkadot is not on there cuz they have the highest amount after Bitcoin with a co of 62-82 according to other sources
We still need to build the underlying infrastructure (shared security, interoperability) but there's already DEXs, trading tools, derivatives and so on which you can use today
When it comes to Polkadot's shared security model, they are actually by far market leaders. Avalanche still has a lot to catch up but I also don't even think that shared security has high priority on their roadmap
@cryptocito Avalanche not having shared security is a feature. It's a true layer 0. There is no single point of failure like there would be on Polkadot. If Polkadot's security is compromised, the entire network could be because there is only one shared security model. If you wanted, you could build Polkadot as a subnet on Avalanche. If shared security is important to your blockchain, build it into your subnet (blockchain) on Avalanche. If your shared security is compromised as an Avalanche subnet, it won't affect the entire Avalanche network, just the subnet itself.
@Seriksy I dont think that is true. Parachain auctions exist as a limitation of the Polkadot blockchain. Not everyone can make a Parachain. As I mentioned, you could even make Polkadot a subnet of Avalanche.
very complete and clear comparison. really instructive and really appreciated! thanks for this work
Cosmos Atom will be the clear winner in the future...the ecosystem is huge and promising
DOT will be more secure with better tokenomics

Great information. No matter what oother chains have to offer, $ATOM just excites me. Strong believer of interchains!
