More often than not people choose to be heavy. It's not "fat shaming" to not be able to accomodate large people 100% of the time.

Logically we're not supposed to be anywhere near 600 lbs. And the average person can't handle that weight either and, as a result, neither can most household appliances like chairs and beds. Hell, our CARS aren't even big enough for someone of that size.
We can acknowledge that there are health conditions that cause out-of-control weight gain, but sadly those conditions only affect a small portion of the larger whole. We can also acknowledge that genetics plays a factor on how big we get. Some people are just born bigger and as a result of that growth, they weigh heavier. We can even acknowledge that what we see as "fat" is actually muscle mass. But once again, the problem is in terms of percentage against a large whole.
So yes, more often than not, being heavy is a choice. We choose what we eat, we choose not to be active, and we choose to avoid the doctor like the plague.
No one deserves to be fat-shamed, it's true, but facts are facts, no matter how painful they are. And the fact: the world isn't accommodating for someone who weighs 600 lbs. OP's aunt, uncle and cousin are frustrated with that truth and taking it out on OP because it's easier to attack OP rather than change the world.
