    I hate false SA accusers. It ruins the lives of the falsely accused, and diminishes the significance of actual incidents of SA and the credibility of the real victims.

      We have to tolerate false accusations if it means making it easier for women to report cases of abuse. It's collateral damage that is acceptable for the greater good.

      @@paulinejackson5861 The boy who cried wolf, he cried wolf so much that when the wolf actually showed up nobody believed him, the reason why people are afraid to report is because of fake accusations, when an accusation gets proven to be fake what are peoples reactions, they are less likely to believe somebody else who is saying the exact same thing and who means it, also you’re giving them what they want they want to ruin these peoples lives they want attention, there are real life cases of women Who continuously will claim sexual assault just to put people in prison just to get attention, so for the greater good fake accusations should not be a thing

      Looks like this story happens in Brazil, and as a Brazilian myself, I can say that sometimes (it's a gamble on if you're lucky or have enough money + good lawyers) the Justice system is a completely joke. And well if this happened on 80's there is pretty sure that they alleged that they were disciplinating their son. It was pretty common physical disciplice back then.

Let me put it this way, the parents already beat one of their children within an inch of his life based on a claim with less than 0 evidence backing it, what exactly is stopping them from doing it to OP if someone decides to lie and tell them he did something despicable?     When I was 15 I got accused and set up by a girl and her brother...got badly beaten up....3 years later I handed each one payback...1 served 3 1/2 years in prison...that was 42 years ago, all 3 of them are still in wheelchairs

    Story 1. If I had such a good relationship with my brother, and my parents did that to him, they should expect one day to have the excact same ending. Ending up in the hospital, being in a worse condition than my brother. Breaking multiple of his ribs, limbs, and making him lose 60% of his sight.. and they are called parents.. Unimaginable how much audacity they must have to think that they would be welcomed to visit their son in the hospital, after what they did to him.

      Someone said this was in Brazil, and they have different system and customs there, so they may have been detained but never fully charged. Especially since most places will accept payouts if they have it.

    The fact it took that long to say sorry?! Ffs. You can believe the woman, but listen to your child and listen to the police. Sure at the moment of allegation, you don't know who is lying, your son or the girl, but you don't try to murder your son!! You don't automatically believe one side and violantly attack the other. You support both sides during an investigation.
    That attack was preformative. If he had SA'd the woman, how does the guy getting brutalised by his family at hour 1 help? They didn't care about the potential victim, they just cared about the performance of it. They go in the same bin as the POS girl that boasted about faking an SA in the first place.

      Several forms of speech that don’t make much sense in English but are used in Portuguese make me think that the story was originally in Portuguese, and translated literally, maybe with google translate. It was probably set in Brazil, considering that the mother was called a piranha, which is an insult relatively common there.

    Um how are those parent's not behind bars for attempted murder or something? The list of damage and then there being little to no legal repercussions makes me feel like the story is either false or embellished.
    Edit: I'm realizing from the structure of the post that this likely occurred in a country with different legal standards to my own. Rather than delete my initial response I choose to own up to my ignorance. I am just truly baffled that it's at all possible in any place on earth for someone to harm another person that badly and face no legal consequences let alone it be a parent harming their child.
