- It's time for a whole house clean with me, home reset and some cleaning, decluttering and organizing as we begin taking down fall decor, fall cleaning and preparing for Christmas decorating and also for our upcoming move! I totally get that! I still can't wait to go pumpkin picking and a corn maze and do all the fall things, but we have a move coming soon so I'm starting to declutter and clean and donate things now to make it easier when the time comes!

I make lists of things I want to clean. In the spring and fall I do walls baseboards curtains etc. When I change decor I deep clean. Cleaning seems to be an on going thing 😊

Hi 😊 I needed this video today 😂 thank you for the motivation to do my fall cleaning! I love having a weekly cleaning routine, but I'm often too tired to actually stick to it 😅 so I do "instant reward cleaning" first, to get my momentum going. Then it's easier to do the rest. I often "clean my area" during waiting time: when my dinner is in the oven I clean its top and hood, I pass a table top broom and vacuum on the counter waiting for my toasts, etc. I also have a to-do list written down and I add a few cool things like drinking coffee, getting dressed, taking my meds, and other stuff so I can check off a few things before actually starting my tasks. I have ADHD and doing that helps me tremendously with executive paralysis because, even though it's regular human morning things, I see I have already achieved something and it motivates me to do another thing, and another one, etc. I love the idea of clear bins, and also scrubbing the shower while you're in there? 🤯 Brilliant. Never thought of that.

Do you decorate for Christmas early, is that why you took your fall decor down? It si hard for me this time of year because i want to go straight into Christmas decor after summer lol
Yes, I usually do decorate a bit early so I have a place to put the crafts I'm making lol. In addition, this year we will have a move coming up at some point soon, so I'm starting to declutter and donate things to make the move a little easier when the time comes :)
