That broke my heart, ice experienced something similar. Not too good scale, but at 300$ a hand, I had gotten 8s dealer had an 8, Mac bet bonus netted me 1200$ total between two side bets. I had to split the 8s, had gotten another 8 , gotten 17 on all three hands. Dealer flips a ten for 18, that bonus I just won, literally gave it away in the same hand because of the splits.
