I think after five or ten minutes of arguing it's no longer about the call, it becomes gamesmanship to try to disrupt the rhythm of your opponent and it shouldn't be allowed. The call is the call. They're rarely overturned especially on clay, so just get over it and move on. Also, I don't know why anyone would willingly choose Fognini as a doubles partner. With his erratic behavior, you're almost guaranteed to lose the tournament

It amazes me how timid the umpires are. They plead with the player to understand their call as though the player has the final say. They shouldn't even respond other than to make the call, issue a code violation or so on. If the player argues, just ignore them and if they refuse to take the court, they lose a point or forfeit. Simple as that. This whiny style of argumentation from the umpires is so unbecoming. It really cheapens the sport.

It is a waste of time to ask for a supervisor to come to the court because of a line dispute, questionable call, or code violation. The chair umpire has the final say and the supervisor will tell you as much.

She was too professional with two kids who should've done the same I mean be professionals
If there was a challenge system during ymer and kavcic there would have been no argument

Problem is, that the stupid clay court orgs don't want Hawkeye to misdirect point discrepancies, because of the "clay infringing on the mark" argument. But, we'll have to make do with Mcenroe-esque arguments between players/umpires all throughout the clay court season.

It is a waste of time to ask for a supervisor to come to the court because of a line dispute, questionable call, or code violation. The chair umpire has the final say and the supervisor will tell you as much.
