  • In this video I review and demonstrate the Litheli Battery Powered Cordless Pole Saw. I often get asked by manufacturers to have a look at their Products and review them. Which is wonderful because I get to keep the product but I always make it very clear that I will be honest opinion.
Her are my thoughts about the Litheli Pole Saw:
    1. Very clear instructions, which MUST BE READ THOROUGHLY before use. There is plenty of guidance around safety.
    2. The product is well packaged and complete and arrived promptly after despatch.
    3. You need to buy your own chainsaw oil and you need to soak the chain in oil overnight before first use. So plan ahead for the first job.
    4. It was very easy to assemble. Protect your work area with cardboard to avoid staining with oil. Wear strong gloves when handling the chain. They are sharp and can easily cut.
    5. The battery charges very quickly. It took around one hour for full charge.
    6. The product feels well made. It is quite heavy and is also top heavy during use, so plan to have breaks and use the shoulder support.
    7. The pole saw does the work for you, don't force it.
    8. The price point seems very good value. There is also a limited time special offer which makes it even better value.
    9. I cannot comment on the longevity or long term reliability of the saw however the reviews on Amazon are very good.
    10. Keep your chain sharp and battery well maintained. And ALWAYS FOLLOW SAFETY PROTOCOLS.

Quite possibly. But I was asked to review the battery powered one.

Ooo that looks tempting, but do you think a 5'1.5 person like me would find it too heavy to manage? I usually have to climb ladders, and use my little mini chainsaw, so that would be very handy.

Hi Anna. It definitely depends how strong you are. It is quite heavy and top heavy. I think if you choose to get one i would say use the strap, take time, build it up and have regular breaks. Because it was a new activity i did have some achy muscles next day. Like a gym workout. Are you near me? (cheshire) you can have a go with this one if you like. Mark

Hi ! Thx for the great video. When you soak the chain overnight, do you put this oil in the oil tank ?

Hi Steven. I can't remember if I did or not. But had it been clean and chain oil i would do. Mark

I think the same oil should block the lubrication system.
