I made a channel specifically for this car and my late brother. There’s only two so far. If you want, check it out. ruclips.net/channel/UC6tIm-9eTy-1qZnEJjUG0og
Nice! I think I'm gonna go the 401 route too eventually. Can't take the slowness of the Rambler 327 and there's virtually nothing aftermarket available for it.
That’s what was in this car before. My brother always used a 401 for drag racing. His first drag car was a ‘64 American 440. It was so long ago and I was young enough I didn’t understand cars, I just knew it scared me to go ride it in. But I liked that kind of scared. 😂 if I’m recalling correctly he pulled that 401 from the American, sold the car to his best friend, and prepped the motor for the next stages in drag racing. This time boring and stroking it to a 429. Comp Cams(don’t remember the grind), F.A.S.T. Fuel Injection, TH400 transmission with a GearVendor unit. Caltracs for the rear and an Explorer 8.8 rear end. But you’re right. I bet that’s why he ditched the 327. 😂 Good luck. I can’t help much with AMC as I’m a ford guy myself but I do remember who he used to build his engine professionally the second time around. And he was a member of the AMC club here in Kansas.
JP 360FORD how did you do away with the torque tube I have two 65 marlins one with a 327 and one with a 232 six just love how that marlin of yours looks and goes full credit to you
Philip Logan Really appreciate the compliment! However, this is my brothers' car. That's pretty bad ass that you have two Marlins! I'll get back to you to answer your question or have my brother respond if he has a RUclips account.
Wow, impressive power there. 💪💪💪
