The 'Cancel Watering' is for when it is raining. You press 'cancel watering' and repeated presses of the cancel button (or using the right hand up and down buttons) will set the number of hours that the auto functionality will be delayed.
I have had two now with the same problem. When set to "off' they 'click' on at random times. I returned my first on to the store I purchased it at but I kept the second one even though it has the same issue. I would not trust it if your going on vacation or ate going to be away for an extended time.
@@sprinklersystems1 This is the second one, as I mentioned, with the same problem, my Gardena and Melnor timers work correctly and well. I am happy yours functions correctly.
