Fun walkthrough. Those $25 solar shower bags are tough to beat for effective, compact simplicity if there is some SHTF going on though. Not much to go wrong there.👍

One of the Amazon reviews said that the water flow can’t be stopped while the unit is on? One important part of a camp shower, or any shower where water supply is limited, is the ability to turn off the water while soaping up.
It is a downfall and for conservation purposes I appreciate that type of shower. But, that downfall is also why it's so simplistic so it's a trade off.
Nice unit but has some down sides. Garden style pump sprayer filled with warmed water will work and much less expensive. Can even improve it with a shower head with hose.
Free one for Colman. Put a third hose to circulate the water back to the bottle/tank until it starts heating, then a switch over to the active waterline. Think a "Y" connection on a garden hose.
Glad you reviewed this, as it's most definitely something I've been wanting to check out for some time now. Not a fan of the fact that the water has to be running before you turn the heat on. There are other less expensive hot shower options, but they also have limitations. A hot shower would be a MUST in extended SHTF situations, and is something that many don't think about.
I would say definitely worth having. It seems simple so even if something failed I can't see it being more than the battery or pump, anything else can be worked around. I can't see in SHTF anyone doing warranty work, maybe its just me. An alternative battery 'could' in theory be hooked up and all it would need is 'a pump' small pumps can be stockpiled.
I have one of these from another company, and a pump that I can take off grid for when I go overlanding. I built mine out about a year ago. Its nice to have when you are doing more than a night or two in the woods.
@@MagicPrepper So far it has. I have it set up to pump from a water can go through the heater unit and out the other side through the hand wand to shower. Hot water will be a game changer. I have also prepped soap, shampoo and hair conditioner in single use sizes similar to hotels, that way I can barter those items easier
I'm digging all the propane content you're making. You need to do a duel fuel setup on your truck. I don't have to worry about fuel going bad in my truck cause it runs LP. I ran a similar unit on my boat years ago. If you turn the heat on and run the water back into the reservoir jug it'll pre-heat the water. Less waste.
This particular showerhead is not adjustable but the upgraded model with the digital readout has an adjustable one so maybe that one can? You can also remove the shower head and have a straight water line which I am sure you could find a fitting for.
Cool video, its nice that you do these reviews so I don't end up with buyers remorse. I think it would have practical uses if your glamping or RVing. Personally I'll take a cold soapy rag and save $400. Can't wait for your next video to drop, thanks!
I wouldnt want to waste the propane canisters on it but would rather use them to cook or to use for heat which they run out quickly but an occasional warm shower once in a great while would be nice
For the poor people you can make one of these with a 5 gallon bucket, battery shower pump, and 5 gallon water heater for like 50 bucks if you have a way to power it.

It depends on function and where you'll be using it the most. The pump hose has a built in screen filter so that helps with that issue. And you need to fully drain everything after use which helps to avoid the freeze issues. But I agree that it has a level of fragility to it.

And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
