I've had a huge crush on him since way back when. And I still do! Weekend at Bernie's is one of my all-time favorite guilty pleasure movies. I just love it, and I love him in it. I think it's hilarious!
Pretty in Pink has two of my favourite people, Andrew McCarthy and James Spader. These lovely interviews reminded me that I must rewatch it, and Mannequin, and the rest of them. Always a good day when I get an update on Andrew, what a sweet man and gorgeous human being.
Drew has some fantastic guests on her show ❤️ I live for these clips as I’m unable to watch properly here in the UK so thank you for uploading, they really make my day when I watch them and see Drew’s beautiful face 💖
There is an article that for Pretty in Pink the original ending was Molly ending up with Duckie. It didn't go well with audiences so that's why they did the re-shoot for Molly to end up with Andrew.
My favorite moment in the first movie is still at the beginning when they're about to get mugged. "Hands in the air! - Get out of here! It's too hot! *walks away*"
I really wish Drew would have asked Andrew about The Joy Luck Club. I'm very interested to know how he ended up doing that role but no one ever asks him about it.
Drew you look amazingly gorgeous. Give out your secrete already =). Love that movie (Ever After: A Cinderella Story. You played that roll like a champ..... From Azores with love xoxox
I cannot not laugh throughout Weekend At Bernie’s. The first time I ever saw it, I lost it during the Buoy scene. That and the staple scene. Thank you, Andrew, for the that timeless hilarity. We share done if the same zany humor.
That’s all she asked him about Pretty In Pink? She didn’t even ask about Heaven Help Us or Class!? Wtf!? Or Kansas? She should’ve at least covered all his 80’s movies.
that is so gross. i worked at a mortuary real creepy seeing a bluish embalmed body im hardly there ooh gross what they do with entrails etc. BUT the original is on 10th grade British Literature course, followed by Writing for college, then AP English - Wuthering Heights by the Brontes, well known to study. But its real crazy following that and the normalcy she finds in the end, to the next and next generation. He dug her up real gross for suggestive necrophilia or that sort of thing and wanted to die with the body etc and the angst journey of being a househand or horse stalls seeing her then coming back as Heathcliff like Jay Gatsby kind I have several modern day versions of based on real characters. The norm for Katherine was an average local farmhand. Not bright but kind, and no crazy dark armenian crazy. black blue eye thing repeated Jane Eyre too as Rochester. dunno. not much then i always feel, even thinking going to Hawaii or unestablished or uncivilized lands even James Joyce irish and others like mayflower hm.. so much there. ... etc. ..
Weekend at Bernie's perhaps the greatest movie ever made!! 30 Years later and still cranking!! Great casting of course!!
There is no summer without Weekend at Bernies!
I've had a huge crush on him since way back when. And I still do! Weekend at Bernie's is one of my all-time favorite guilty pleasure movies. I just love it, and I love him in it. I think it's hilarious!
Andrew is still sooo handsome😍😍😍🙌🏻
Bernie 3?
Yes he is
If we could turn back time, or just live in a decade, I would be forever young in the 80's!
Omg same here
When I read this, Cher's voice sang loudly in my head "If I could turn back time..." a song, which was released in the 80's! LONG LIVE THE 80'S!
Me too 🙂
The 80’s - early 90’s we’re a very special time…
I would too!! 80s best decade EVER!!

Omg!!!! My celebrity crush!!!! Drew, you made my day!!!!
Drew has such an adorable personality and Andrew is such a handsome, charming man. ❤️
Weekend at Bernies was hilarious.
still funny till this day
Andrew in the Joy Luck Club🥰 The scene in the rain when he bares his soul to his wife, was amazing. Gets me every time. Really beautiful.
Love that movie
I'm a huge fan of weekend at bernies. Andrew McCarty was great with Johnathon Silverman. It was awesome.
Drew has some fantastic guests on her show ❤️ I live for these clips as I’m unable to watch properly here in the UK so thank you for uploading, they really make my day when I watch them and see Drew’s beautiful face 💖
Very under rated actor.
I had the biggest crush on him! 🥰🥰
So did I❤️❤️❤️
Me three
Same:) follow him on fb he answers your questions sometimes.
@@Hugginsince79 omg really thank you 🙏🏼 for telling me 💖💖
I thought that his hair looked really weird at the end of pretty in pink so this answer that question for sure. LOL
Same here I didn’t like it
Drew could’ve looked that up on the internet or just read his last book where he mentions the prom scene.
I loved all of his movies growing up-Class was my favorite! Did he get a nose job-it Looks so much thinner?? Still looks amazing!!!
He’s still got it!
Manequin was MY favourite film for years!!!! Oh, I forgot about it!! Súper film!!!

Duckie was cute but exhausting. I liked Molly better in 16 Candles.
My favorite moment in the first movie is still at the beginning when they're about to get mugged. "Hands in the air! - Get out of here! It's too hot! *walks away*"
One of the best movies of all time. He, AM, was in a number of them. 👏
They never talk about Less Than Zero but everyone was so good in it and a great departure from the formula of the time.
I love WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S, and MANNEQUIN is so underrated.
Best movies! 😊
Need to see this movie again. Bernie!!
TE AMO ANDREW , HOY Y SIEMPRE, TE AMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
weekend at Bernies is the funniest movie iv ever watched.

Still so damn handsome. And his book is great.
I really wish Drew would have asked Andrew about The Joy Luck Club. I'm very interested to know how he ended up doing that role but no one ever asks him about it.

This MAN should be a oscar nominee
He s so cute! Look s a bit like Hug Grant in this interwiew
Andrew
That guy who played Bernie shoulda won an Oscar.
Still looks great.
I always said at the end of "Pretty in Pink" what's up with his hair?
…love him
Good to see him embracing the movie. For years I always felt like he was dismissive about it.
Jeez he still has that handsome boyish look. Not many actors you can say that about. Probably Rob Lowe is in the same boat.
Andrew looks fantastic he actually looks a little like Richard Gere.
That’s all she asked him about Pretty In Pink? She didn’t even ask about Heaven Help Us or Class!? Wtf!? Or Kansas? She should’ve at least covered all his 80’s movies.
I knew there was something strange about his hair that night lol
Drew is 1975 generation x,,,,,, i still learning english with WWF AND UFC,,, only...
She had her own show?? 🫢
😋😋😋
This guy doesn't age
I'm the first like and comment
