I think this movie is one of the greatest tributes to fathers ever.
Oh yess! But for us who both grew up without a dad, we believed that blood is not thicker than water! And Yondu proved that ❤️
Yes♥️
The first time I noticed something; When 12 year old Quill got takan by Yondu's ship I thought it was a very convenient coincidence that he got abducted right after his mom died. But the timing was not a coincidence at all, since Ego put the tumor that killed his mom! I thought it was a plot hole, but it was actually good set up for the sequel.
I literally met Michael Rooker, who played Yondu, today at a comic con I was at. Nice guy.
I had my first daughter around the time this movie came out. I also had a shitty father and a great step dad. The end of this movie hit me pretty hard, as much as I hate to admit it.
ur not the only one ^_^ life is a bi""h i tell u that
I always cry with Yondu's death. I cried even more when I saw you guys getting emotional too
First time I saw Drax being dragged as they were crash landing and that heavy metal thing hits him I laughed at him so hard.
Hahaha.. we love drax and his honesty!
Out of all the reaction channels I’m subscribed to, you guys are my favorite. I love the dynamic you two have and how invested you are in each movie.
thank youuu! we are trying our best! but stay humble and ourselfs in the same time. ^_^ comments like urs keep us positive to keep doing this!!
I kinda love Vol 2 as much as Vol 1. Better story, better emotions, better villain
I'm a huge fan of Baby Groot, too!
21:32 the man in the suit is Stan Lee, the reason you have a Marvel Universe to watch in the first place.
The beings he is talking to are The Watchers - originally seen in Fantastic Four.
respect for him! he did a great Job giving us all of this
Adding your names at the beginning is a great idea - I wish more people understood the importance of introducing themselves. >Also: Wondering if this was the first time Stallone and Rooker worked together since Cliffhanger (1993)
Im MARY POPPINS Y‘ALL
"Is he cool?" LMAO
No. I'm Spartacus.
Oh wait... wrong movie...
Just an FYI. The “Adam” she speaks of at the end is a character called Adam Warlock. He is pivotal in the comics in defeating Thanos but in the MCU movies he only gets a mention in this movie
ohhh i see.. well i kinda hate the fact that original stories are changed for the sake of i dont know what.. but i would rather not even read the original stories if i watched the movie already... it happened with games too.. very well made games around 2000s like Max Payne or Hitman were turned into movies... big mistake! they failed big time
He's like a god with a small " g "
The opening of this movie took place in 1980 and the opening of Volume One took place in 1988. That means that Peter was either seven or eight years old at the time of his abduction or it means that he had already been born and was three or four years old at the beginning of this movie.
21:34 The Watchers! They are sworn to observe and record the greatest events of the universe without interference (after introducing advanced technology to an unprepared ancient alien civilization, only to see it wipe itself out) but obviously even their patience has limits. In the comics the Watcher assigned to Earth has broken his vow on multiple occasions to save humanity from extraterrestrial threats like Galactus. He narrates the Marvel Disney+ miniseries _What If?_
ohhh interesting.. well it all comes together later on i guess
When Quill shouts "Of I've got issues! THAT'S my freaking father *points to a enraged Ego*!!", I thought that scene would be a fun 3D sim ride.
Everybody gangsta until the Ravager funeral!
it was deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
This was a really good ending and ya'll had great reactions. I'm enjoying you're MCU series reactions 👍
I am Groot!
Translation: Kurt Russell's hair needs it's own onscreen credit😂
Awesome Mix Vol 2 ❤️
THX for your reaction vids 👍😀
I always get tears in my eyes whenever Ego says that it broke his heart to put the tumor in her head and Quill INSTANTLY starts shooting him. No thoughts, no considerations, just "you killed my mother, you son of a bitch." Quill's love for his mother is so pure, and he absolutely won't tolerate this man he just met thinking he's important enough to kill her for some vision Quill can barely comprehend.
Another MCU tear-jerker.
Fun Fact: The Ravenger leaders were the ORIGINAL Guardians of The Galaxy.
I wonder if we will see more of the ravagers on the next Guardians of the galaxy! To see stallone and michelle yeoh there made me wonder how bad-ass they are as ravagers!
If your asking about how rocket 🚀 got like that someone built him in a laboratory experiment that escaped
Great movie. That scene with the bomb is hilarious :) . If you watch Big Trouble in Little China movie you will understand why Kurt Russel is playing Star Lord father. I am so excited for Guardian Of The Galaxy 3 movie for Adam. Adam Warlock If the Mcu do him right he is good guy. A Marvel Superman.
we can't wait for it either!!! we heard Adam Warlock was changed compared to what he was originaly doing in the comics
@@MJoy4Fun I did not hear that. This is not good new I fear any changes woke Hollywood does to male characters this days. That usually means he is going to be bad or stupid or both and will be replaced by a superior female copy cat character :)
Great reaction. If this made you emotional, wait til you watch volume 3. That dials it up by a thousand times
GREAT reaction! One interesting point is the enemy was "Ego" who by definition thinks only of itself so it wanted to be "everything".
"Adam" is the character who in the comic books, is Thanos' greatest nemesis. It's different in the movies but he is an AMAZING character and will be in the movies.
Adam refers to Adam Warlock from the comics.
I always enjoy watching you guys react, and this was a 10/10
Great job, guys!!! I really, really appreciate your reaction!!! Can't wait to see more!!!!
Thank you so much! 😊
Awesome you included the ending scenes of the movie - not many do. 👍
Yundu's right hand man, Kraglin is the director, James Gunn's brother, Sean
I agree with a previous comment. You both make it so enjoyable to watch your reactions. ❤️
Thank you so much. 😊
23:19 You are absolutely right. Humans are born, do things, then we die. Our existence is defined by what we do and how we are remembered. Even the Asgardians, the frost giants and the Dark Elves of the Thor movies are mortal. They all age and die even if they don't get into wars, it just takes a lot longer. Because Ego is immortal and everyone else it has encountered before is mortal, Ego does not have the same feelings we do for other life. Meredith Quill might have been the only being it had ever felt close to love. But for fear of distraction from his goal, Ego killed her. That is why the song Brandy is so important in this movie. Ego is the sea captain and his true love is his mission. Not even the woman he "loved" and left behind.
13:41 "why do I have a bad feeling about this?" 😏😆 I enjoy your enjoyment.
ohhh yess
Your reactions continue to be a joy to behold.
thank youuuu!!
Those are the bones of all the other kids he had that didn't work out so he killed them
he is by far the most cruel villain... if you remember from all MCU movies, all the villains had a pretty good reason to turn bad.. this guy ''i mean celestial shit'' was doing it for fun... or experimental
Y'all are such a cute couple and wonderful in your reviews, both perceptive yet differently. New subscriber now. Thanks for sharing.
amazing guys)
Uuuugh!! That ending always gets me
As good as pt 1 :). Kirk Russell never disappoints! Ps: pt 3 is James Gunn last feature film :(
You should watch "True Grit" the John Wayne version
The Creation of ADAM WARLOCK!!! When will he be Released?
That was Great!👍😃
Thanks for the visit
A Guardians movie. Fun. Watching you guys watch a Guardians movie. More fun!
Kurt Russell!
She created Adam Warlock one of the powerful character in marvel
scary stuff!
@@MJoy4Fun Rumour has it GOTG3 is about Rocket and Groot orgin Stories
ego is more powerful than thanos
This one is so much fun!
was a blast! i will be sad if no MCU will be worked on later in the future
@@MJoy4Fun there's supposed to be one more Guardians!
21:33 I don't know if you guys know Stan Lee but almost every marvel movie there's a Stan Lee cameo. There's no Stan Lee in spiderman no way home bc he has passed away in 2018 rip Stan Lee.
I was confused bc you guys had 0 reaction when you saw Stan Lee, I'm not mad I'm just questioning.
I've enjoy watching your reactions. You make it fun. Thank you. Keep it up. If you want to watch an western movie, The Cowboys, made in 1972 stars John Wayne.
2:10 He didn’t, not this one. First Groot is dead. Baby Groot is old Groot son and Rocket adopted him as his son.
What? They are two different groot???
@@MJoy4Fun Yes, they are two Groots: One saw Rocket as a friend, the other sees him as an adopted father. At the end of GotG, Groot actually died. He gave his life building a cocoon to protect his fellow guardians. However, Rocket took one of Groot’s twigs and planted it in a pot, growing Groot’s son. Baby Groot, who is not Groot but Groot’s son, is the one we see in GotG2 and at the end of this movie is a teen.
Ur very intelligent.
I really enjoy your reactions. Just a comment to drive metrics.
Thank you that helps man!
Are you guys aware of Stan Lee? You never mention him...
Ohh yes.. we do! Hahaha . He is the father of Marvel. That's why we always try to include him in our edited reactions here to show respect! 😊 We just didnt show him in the end cuz he already showed him in the mid part
Really looking forward to Thor: Ragnarok xD
hi
Genial
31:53 👀
👀
You guys totally missed Stan Lee.
We didn't skipped him. We just didn't include him at the end 😅
Yeah he sacrificed him self for quint but remember. last movie quint can survive space he's half a god that's how he survived space and holding the power stone he held in the last movie so they could have both survived
i was thinking the same.. he could gave the oxygen source to Yondu and he would survive.. but he was too scared also.. and Yondu wouldn't let it eventually.. but yes he could saved him... sad times
When Peter defeated his father, he had lost his powers. Like Ego said, if he died, Peter would be like everyone else.
Please watch Logan
Avengers? Pff...... nah! The guardians of the galaxy was a true hero's team. Sometimes they act like a family. The avengers always split up wen things gone bad but not the guardians, they stayed together until the end
I'm eager for Marian to watch Thor 3.
ohhh my! i can't wait!! if we had someone to edit our videos i would be watching those every single DAY!
first
Good though this movie is, it screws up the idea of Celestials when you consider "The Eternals". The MCU have the knack of making great movies and screwing them up at the same time!
Start reviewing some film noir of the forties, never mind this Star Wars/Superhero crap. Try Double Indemnity, for starters.
Your parents may have miserably failed to teach you manners, but the rest of the world *will* eventually pick up the slack.
i am confused.. you think those movies are crap or what?
@@MJoy4Fun Let's put it this way, the majority of superhero/science fiction movies made in the last ten, twenty years are basically garbage in my humble opinion, if you like movies of the last twenty years, here are a few good ones, Cinderella Man, Million Dollar Baby, True Grit (2010).
But like I said in the earlier comment, don't sell what they called film noir movies of the 1940's short, Double Indemnity (1944): Directed by Billy Wilder. With Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck, Edward G. Robinson, is excellent.
Another one from 1960, The Apartment.
Guaranteed, you review even one that I listed, you'll want to see the rest.
Thanks for letting me ramble, hope you two have a good night.
