Tyler, I'm glad to see you using stock feeders, as they add considerable safety to many machine operations, with the bonus of saving your rotator cuff. Being a young man, you probably don't appreciate this latter benefit, but believe me that as you get older, your shoulders will thank you.
Boy!!! You are getting HI-TECH in the woodshop there young man. Always look forward to watching your content because you have so many different kinds of builds. Thanks for the video,William
Great job! Always like your videos. I've learned a lot. Your channel is one of the reasons I'm in the process of creating my own channel. Thank you for all that you do.
Hello the table saw power feeder install for those who want to do repetitive work and type assembly line acho which is an essential and necessary tool, but I don't think that is your case or for those who don't do work in large quantities I think it will be a useless tool , I repeat this tool will only be useful for those who do jobs in large quantities, greetings.
Dave, I see Tyler didn't answer you, so I will. You're right about the fence guiding the work, but the power feeder is oriented so it feeds the work now only forwards into the blade, but slightly angled inward so the work is continually pushed towards the fence. There are many very educational videos concerning power feeders which you may wish to consult. Hope this response gets you going in the right direction (sorry for that rather weak pun...).
They are really designed for small repeatable cuts like he is planning on for cabinets. When cutting hundreds or in the case of pro cabinet maker shops thousands of stiles and rails it is amazing. Most table saw injuries happen when making multiple mundane repeated cuts. This tool takes care of all that. For larger cuts it can just be unbolted and set aside.
@@steveslenderman I lost some meat off my thumb for that exact reason. Got into a groove making the same cut and forgot my hand placement. Luckily didn't hit the bone, but I learned my lesson! If i start to make stupid mistakes even when not using power tools, it's time to stop.
Great job Tyler. I had the same question as Richard below...are you sacrificing the cutting capacity on the table saw? I suppose that the feeder is easy enough to remove if you ever needed to. Thanks for sharing but where were the kids?
I Guess you won't be making Any Cuts Wider Than 12 Inches ??? You Should Check Out The Magnetic Bases For Your Power feed They Work Great !!! Happy Milling 😁
I was contracted for 900 linear feet of red cedar T&G siding. The General said he didn't want standard eight boards but rather ten and twelve foot boards. A power feeder on the router table became a must. I'm really glad I figured the cost of the feeder into the bid.
i like the power feeder.. i see Mike Farrignton use one alot im sure you will get lots of use out of it.. question how do you like the Grizzly planer and jointer ? would you recommend ? \MM/
So is the brand name on table saw or power feeder covered because they don’t sponsor you? Seems like if they’re good enough for you to purchase them why not give them credit for their products? I don’t understand the motive.
those swinging guard on the surface planer/ jointer are stupid, if your hand slip off the wood your edging in a forward motion it'll just swing out of the way and let you cut all your fingers off i cringe every time i see one. can i offer you a tip that may save your fingers and is good practice. when using your jointer/ surface planer as soon as they is enough wood on the out feed side transfer your hand over so you are pulling the wood away from the cutter and not pushing towards the cutter and never push the wood down directly above the cutter if you slip you will loose a big chunk of your hand in a instant. Youll also get a straighter edge by pulling the wood on the outfeed side which is a added bonus!
If the project is building many cabinets it is a great tool. It all depends on the scope of the project. Just like any tool in the shop from screwdriver to cnc
what is the point of this. you dont mention the brand, even covering it up, and did not list in in your LONG list of tools. So maybe the title should be "Table Saw Upgrades - New extension wing and Router / Table saw and other stuff that for some reason I cannot mention".

I don't consider myself older but my shoulder's are screaming PLEASE
Great job. It’s awesome to use the tool to build something to use the tool. That shine sure looked smooth
Your shop looks like the front entrance of a Home Depot
Love seeing those Steel Pro Splitters!
AWSOME addition to the shop. Looking forward to seeing more in action.

Tyler has all the coolest tools and equipment....

What’s the digital readout you have on your table saw?
What brand name power feeder is that?
Love that power feeder !!
Looks great! Are you sacrificing the cutting capacity on the table saw? If so, are you just breaking your materials more with the track saw? Thx.
It is bolted on so an impact driver would make it quick to remove, the t-nuts mean you don't need to get under the top with a wrench
What kind of PVC are you using for your dust collection? It doesn’t look like regular schedule 40.
Where to find that roller pusher
TYLER YOU SHOP LOOKS GREAT .RIGHT UP MY ALLEY NICE AND CLEAN.JUST LOVE IT .FROM DOUG
Love that power feeder, I'm sure it helps even more with kick backs?
Very cool. Why do I not see more power feeders in workshops? Definitely on my list now. Do you think you could use that same feeder on your jointer?
Nice job - question so you need to use the table saw fence to ensure the power feeder is in line with the blade so you don't get angled cuts?

@@ApexWoodworks Thank you sir makes perfect sense- appreciate your explanation
What fence do you have on your table saw
It looks like a Delta Unifence.
The biggest problem that I can see with that Power Feeder is that it limits the width of the stock that can be cut on the table saw.

how does it perform with wide stock and plywood sheets?
What company makes the power feeder ?
Thank you
Looks like the one made by ShopFox.
Looks identical to the Infinity
What finish did you spray on the extension?
General Finishes Enduro Poly 10:19

Good Morning Tyler.
They are called “T nuts”

Shop fox is reasonably priced

Have you always had that table saw? I thought I remember you having a Ridgid saw.
👍😎
That mini power feeder is still $440

That feeder took a few hours off your life
👍👍👍❤
The biggest advantage of this feeding device is virtually no kickbacks.
No views, two likes. Nice
Sorry man, just looks like an expensive toy. Just my opinion.
