Circuit City- 🎶 Welcome to Circuit City. Where Service Is State Of The Art!🎶 This is one very catchy jingle with an even catchier beat going for it. Makes me want to dance when I hear it.
I remember going to see Muppet Christmas Carol at the theater on opening night and watching it in a vacant theater. I think people just weren’t ready yet for a Muppet movie without Henson, as he had only passed two years before. Given how hard the project must have been on the team, they did a great job of paying tribute both to the original story and to Jim. Michael Caine regards it as the most fun he ever had doing a movie, and you can tell by his Scrooge.
Isn't that so interesting when that happens? I saw Nightmare Before Christmas in theaters on Halloween a few years back and the entire theater was empty except me and one worker guy. People don't go to the movies as much now anyways or check what's playing all of a sudden, and they don't tell everyone when they play cool things. But for you-- I can't believe it happened to you back when people still went to movies just randomly
4:27 In sports, the 49ers beat the Vikings 20-17, while Washington defeated Dallas by the same score. The Cowboys would eliminate the 49ers in the NFC Championship en route to winning Super Bowl XXVII.
Cool Whip- 7:05- See, Kids? Not even Santa can resist Cool Whip on a Candy Cane in hot chocolate. Make sure you leave that for him when he visits your house on Christmas Eve.
I was 10 at this time, yet I didn't see Muppets Christmas Carol for the first time until I was in my early 20s. I loved it, but as a kid I only watched Muppet Babies, I wasn't familiar with the actual muppets in their original form.
Burt Reynolds's superstar days were long gone by the time he started "Evening Shade." The show received some acclaim, and it was part of the powerhouse Monday night line-up. All that faded away for all those shows by 1994. The model in the Finesse commercial was Suzanne Lanza. I still have not seen "Muppet Christmas Carol," and I was around to see the first three films. I used to think they made up a trilogy with Kermit and Miss Piggy's marriage in "Muppets Take Manhattan" solidifying it as a finale.
I had a computer similar to the one from Circuit City, in fact it was my first in 1993. 2MB and 102MB hard drive! This one was slightly cheaper. But I guarantee we will NEVER see a Scrooge/Elvis Christmas crossover again!

The fact that waterbeds were still popular in 1992 reminds me of how long ago that actually was.
The Rescuers did have a theatrical rerelease in the late 80s, I believe. I think it was around 89 or so. I remember going to see it with my friend.

That Elvis commercial was something else.
7:51 - Honestly, lady? Never.

4:47 - We grew up with this Frosty. Will today’s kids grow up with Hot Frosty?

I just watched Muppet Christmas Carol last weekend. A pleasant film.
