Bruno's mother was second generation Filipino. Bruno is half Puerto Rican and Filipino. I was his maternal grandmother's healthcare worker when she was admitted and later passed under hospice care. She spoke Tagalog as well as the rest of her family. Bruno's mother had already passed I never met her, but I met one of Bruno's uncle who was part of the band. Their family were singers and Bruno's mom sang and also dance hula. His sisters are all singers as well.
