@@171sako but she is an amazing addition, and her voice highlights his so well. i think she totally was made for this song and her highnotes make this song 1000x better. sure, he could do this entire song himself. but harmonies sound better with other voices. no mistakes were made adding her to this song at all.
@@row-vc2fs tbh I was barely able to hear her voice over his, her volume levels were much lower. But yes she does have an amazing voice, I just wish I was able to hear it more.

I love when lady Gaga sings the minor note the 2nd time she sings “last night”. It would sound good if she sang it in the major key with Bruno, but singing the minor note compliments Bruno’s voice in a very unique way.

It’s why I love artists like Bruno Mars. This is his song, and I have no doubt that it was his idea for Lady Gaga to sing the minor note. He probably explained to her that it was unique, and complimented both of there voices. He’s crazy talented.

I tried to play this in my guitar (because that`s what I do when I can`t stop singing a song in my head and this one really stucked) and OH MY GOD, I was not expecting that level of difficulty at first glance... I love the song, And the visuals of the video are incredible. About the cigarette, I think she uses it to make the video look more retro, like it was in the 70s. And she also uses it as a means of being comical and the same with her makeup. The eyeliner looks like she either did her makeup in a hurry, or slept in it, or just like a cigarette, She acts like a singer in the 70s with nothing to lose .( She is also a great actress and always incorporates this into her musical performances, which for me is what makes her special)
And the harmony between Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga was one of the best things of the year.
I think her eye makeup looks reminiscent of Harley quin.

While Gaga is known to smoke, she almost plays a part when she sings and trying to recreate the lounge singers of the era of her outfit. Those ladies always had a cigarette in their mouth.
Apparently this "vocal" coach doesn't know the difference. Several other vocal coaches on YT pointed this out but he didn't get it. And they also pointed out how it sounds like those vocals seemed to be sung with a cigarette in her mouth if you listen closely. That is how talented she is, but this "vocal" coach doesn't get it.
Lady Gaga is actually an ex-smoker Bruno is an active smoker.

All of your reactions to this video are literally me. I would’ve never known about this collaboration if I weren’t following you. Somehow, even though I follow Gaga on IG, I had no idea this collab happened until I got a notification about this video and was immediately interested/intrigued. I 100% agree that Bruno Mars is extremely talented, and underrated in the same way that Jessie J is (if that makes sense…if you know, you know). My roommate often says that Lady Gaga is extremely talented, but the music she releases doesn’t reflect how talented she truly is. I’ve always agreed with him, to an extent, but this is absolute proof (even with the editing of the audio) that she is capable of singing at an entirely different level. A work of art, honestly. Also, as someone who currently smokes cigarettes, I completely agree with you that they need to stop being promoted/encouraged. I wish I never started, and I find it unreal that it’s still so regularly and/or prominently advertised as a “trendy” thing to do. Don’t smoke, guys, unless it’s weed.

the cigarette is fake she quit in 2020. its a movie set cigarette. shes singing in the booth likely with a marker or pencil in her mouth to get the sound to roll her voice in the way to sound like how Bruno closes his Os on this hook. but yeah she quit smoking in like 2019/2020 so this cigarette isnt real. shes playing a Patsy Kline-type character and the cigarette is part of it, but its fake.

What Vegas show? I know they performed the two separate nights when Bruno opened the new Intuit Dome arena which began on August 15 I think in Inglewood, California.
