The hilarious thing about Norm was that when he was telling jokes like that it seems like he was just rambling and making it up as he went along but still managed to come up with a punchline off the top of his head.

Dig it! Was this animation hard to do? I haven't seen anything like this since a scanner darkly.
I'm getting more experienced with the tool, it's called EbSynth. It's the same software Joel Haver uses, and there's a lot of info for tips and tricks (it's free software). I enjoy drawing, so that makes it easier to do as well.

I wonder if he was legitimately struggling to remember how to tell this old joke, like he was a last second replacement guest and didn't have any material ready, or if the delivery is an intentional part of the bit. I know delivery is a big part of his act, but this felt a little more like he really hadn't practiced it beforehand. Or maybe he just decided to roll with the amateurish delivery style after genuinely stumbling on the word "farm."

The rotoscope animation is something odd but familiar, almost like stop motion but from the future. Also lol at actually just dropping a picture of a kid into the well and not animating it, little things like that make me laugh

Man has his right ear bitten clean off in a bar fight and a new plastic surgery technique enables doctors to replace it with a pig’s ear which is re-shaped to suit. A month after the operation, the guy is complaining about his hearing, so goes for a hearing test. The technician puts headphones on him and plays a series of different sounds for the guy to hear. At the end, the technician asks the guy how his hearing was. He says, “The left one’s fine but the right one has crackling in it”.

I used EbSynth which makes rotoscoping easier (only need to draw key frames). They technically call the method "style transfer". Check it out if you like that stuff, it's free software and fun to make stuff with.
