- Robin Zander of Cheap Trick was a guest performer at Ultimate Jam Night at Lucky Strike in Hollywood. Just moments before he took the stage, he found out that Cheap Trick had been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Here's the video of him singing "Dream Police" as well as him sharing the exciting news.
On drums is Daxx Nielsen, also of Cheap trick. Steve Ferlazzo on keys, Mitch Perry & August Zadra on guitar, Chuck Wright on bass; Rich Redmond on percussion.
Hope you enjoy!
Robin is such a nice guy. One of my favorite rock stars. I saw him a few years back with kings of chaos. After the show he went back to the bar and sang with the house band, he then came out in the audience to say hello and take pictures with everyone. What a cool guy! Great night. Going to see him with Cheap Trick in about a month can't wait!!!! I have been a Cheap Trick fan since the first time I saw them with Kiss in 1979.
Ya great bunch of guys I've had the privilege to jam with them in 1988 was a night I'll never forget.
Very moving. SO SO SO deserved! The humblest, ass kicking, undefined, always touring, always creating band on earth! Some of your new stuff is as weird and beautiful as it was in 1977. Forever a fan. Been a while but hope you are enjoying it!
