That's a great question and quite extensive, but let me try to summarize it a bit.
For the niche you choose, you need to go with something you are knowledgeable about and passionate about; otherwise, you'll simply lose interest in a couple of months.
For the featured snippets, it's important to have content that ranks well. Next, you need to answer the question in the same way, using the same words.
Let's say there is a featured snippet for how I get started with SEO.
The answer to the featured snippet should start with To get started with SEO... (So you use the exact wording).
From there, you can optimize further, but keep it short(less than 160 characters, but just be careful not to over-optimize).
If you do video SEO, your channel will appear in search results and views will increase.
You're correct, but there is a bigger potential in getting views from "Browse", and search and browse are completely opposites.
I get views from the SERP to my website. So I use RUclips purely to target browse, and I use my website to gain views through the SERP 🙌
@@PhillipStemann But your RUclips views are not increasing. Less than normal. Your channel is not getting views compared to the number of subscribers. So I say do video SEO. You will get good results.
