Nothing wrong with this. Just shows you how strong TJV are though. Just constantly blowing away everyone every day.
I'm a Vingo "fan" but would love to see Kuss win the Vuelta, but he has to WIN it he shouldn't be given it and I don't think Kuss (or Jumbo) would want that either!
(and he still very well may!)
In pretty much the same vein Kuss could just say next year at TdF: you know man, why don’t you just pace yourself and fight The Pog on your own.
pretty sure he could with ease@@tonyg3091
@@tonyg3091sepp Kuss has never complaint about being a helper and he likes the role of not being in the spotlights, so what you saying would not happen.
I agree. Would like to see Kuss win, but gifting the occational stage is one thing - gifting a GT GC is quite another, and would honestly make a mockery out of the sport. They're elite athletes, not school children.
@@MotorbikeDesignHe said that before ever being in a jersey. The other day he said that he’s slowly growing into the role of being a leader and enjoys it. Stop coming with quotes from months ago, they are not up to date anymore.
JV is the king. He came to Spain to claim another GT throne. Tomorrow he will take the GC lead and you're all invited to rejoice and salute him in Madrid on sunday! Let's all enjoy the best Grand Tour rider at the moment perform his art.
As always in week 3.... Jonas destroys them! And now he is gonna win the Vuelta too! What a season this man had!
This is the first time in the Vuelta that Vingegaard has looked (to me) about the same as he looked in the Tour
Yea u r right, but it was enough😀
Commentators are really trying to create this "team rivalry" angle huh. This is a fine strategy for TJV. If you're a team that strong then you can afford to do this. It's not their problem, it's the other teams problem they can't compete.
dude is crazy good
Selfish...

Jonas is a strong leader
The best climber in the world
It’s been fun rooting for Sepp, but the man is showing form!
Not very nice to watch! Ambition? Enough Vingegaard.
It’s a competition, the best must win
Jonas only at 90% so let’s see what happens tomorrow
So you mean that the best and strongest man should give the victory away, to me that hasn’t anything to do with sport…. May the best man win fair and square!!! @@user-yv3qi7ml3y
@@user-yv3qi7ml3yDry ur panties, it’s sport.
100% they were going to win it for Nathan, no matter what. And that's exactly what happened. Also great for Jumbo to have a backup plan if something goes wrong with Sepp.
What other backup plan did they need in addition to what they already had? They're 1 - 2 and 3. It wasn't necessary to attack his own teammates from distance. Especially not after what was "allowed" to him when he was greenlit earlier for his stage win for his daughter earlier. That day both Primoz and Sepp had the legs and worked for Jonas.
@@taitai67yeh these guys are racing for themselves now 100%. Let’s be honest you can’t expect Jonas or Primoz to just give up a grand tour. I just want the strongest man to win
@@HkFinn83I completely agree with you!
@@taitai67 it is elite sport not schoolkids..... would it feel great for Kuss if he were just giving the victory knowing that he was not the best? .... I think Kuss would like to win the GC but only if he is the best..... Kuss earn 4 - 5.00.000 USD a year..... think he is fine
@@kennethjensen1166 And in which part did I say Kuss should be given a GT win? I'm saying if JV knew he had the legs, he could have rode for the team just a little more rather than going off on a long range attack? Of course it's elite sports, and it's also a team sport. The same reason, JV asked for plan during the Tourmalet stage, when all 3 had the legs and both PR and SK rode for him and held their rivals back with SK in red even. Sure Sepp earns whatever he earns and is fine, same goes for JV no? Maybe he could ride himself the whole way through the tour as well and not have his fans gaslight WvA saying he was selfish for going for individual glory and not working for him?
Well let The Best Win and why coud Vingegaard hold back and tomorrow is even better For Vingegaard
U guys crying about Kuss. U don’t even know whether he’ll be able to win. U assure yourself the victory, u don’t gamble by betting on a guy who’s never done it before.
If Kuss is good enough to win then he’ll show it. He was allowed to aTtack today but didn’t.
Spot on!!!
Let the best man win!
Jonas by all means win La Vuelta. I would love to see Kuss at UAE
Ah yes, now that is a nice angle
Not uae Pogi dont let anybody on his team shine
Why should he go to a team who doesn’t have a chance to win, when he’s already on by far the best team…
@@denmark2680 kind of crazy to say uae doesnt have a chance to win with Pog, Ayuso and Almeida lol. Jumbo has Jonas and Roglic. Roglic is much older than these guys so soon enough Jumbo will "only" have Jonas. If Kuss were to go to uae, Jumbo would be in trouble
@@denmark2680 Money?
Come on - show when he actually breaks away. So few channels show that when its the most exiting thing.
OMG what just happened. Vingo can actually win la vuelta now!!
Yes, because Primož was stopped to help Kuss... if he will win, he will win from the car... and because he finds himself each stage a reason why only he should win... i am looking that from other point of view... he used a medical condition of a friend for his own gain in a race, to get a place in front of teammate to come in front of him by a minute, to get a stage and probably a gc win... that is pure selfish... and he has done that to a guy who last year in tdf helped him injured to win tdf... that is in my mind disgusting... I feel soooo sorry for Primož he is tooo good for him and all that team.
@@barbarap9452wrong.
What are you talking about. Kuss is paid to help Vingegaard. That is his JOB. Jonas is paid to win races! It is not about favors. And what professional would want to win a race where he/she is not the strongest? This result actually means that TJV as a team is in a better place to win the race. @@barbarap9452

They’ve all have the green light. They could just go but we’re seeing who’s the strongest.
And it’s no excuse. He broke down in an interview after the stage.
As much as I would love the fairy tale of Kuss winning come true it's incredible to see so many negative comments by cry babies. How on earth would you justify to not let the strongest man today use his super legs to put his team in an even better position to win the Vuelta? This is business and Team Jumbo knows what they are doing, or do you think you know better? Come on, get real.
Big time gaps on the angliru tomorrow
I still hope Kuss wins. But as a Dane I cannot be unhappy with Jonas winning the stage and looking good for the overall victory.
Still, It would be magical of Kuss won the GC.
All the people hating on Jonas needs to realize it was all in alignment with what was agreed in the team. Neither Sepp nor Roglic had the legs to win today. If Jonas hadn’t attacked, the other teams would have.

I don't like Vingegaard very much as a rider, but here I have to defend him. I think he did the right thing: fight to win the stage (since he was strong enough to do so) and then increase the odds for his team to win the Vuelta (better to have 2 riders ahead from the rest than only 1). What I don't think was all right is what Roglic did. I think it was wrong for him to attack. This made their rivals (Ayuso and Mas, and others) to get closer to Vingegaard (so see his chances, and as a consequence those of Jumbo, to win the Vuetla decrease) and Kuss lose some seconds (and put additional strain on him, when he will need to be as fresh as possible tomorrow and the rest of the days). Having Roglic follow Ayuso or Mas if they had attacked, is a more debatable thing, but having him attack, no, not the best move for the team.
All this in-team precautions (let Sepp win) just amount to a really uninteresting vuelta. We can't root anymore for someone winning!
Also this one team affair is beginning to look like formula one. Which is pretty boring.
Where is this naughty cocky boy named Remco ?
am I the only one that grimaces when one of the best commentators describes what we are looking at as unbelievable. We know where that ends up.
Jonas went alone..Roglic took others with him without Sepp… big difference

Roglic stopped to help Sepp. He brought him with himself to last 100m. Did you watch the stage?

Visma as usual on Jumbo Juice. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jumbo visma atacking Kuss incrivel, time to kuss change teams.
Kuss would never have a chance anyway, so if he want to change to a team where he never is going to win anything then let him. It’s a free world…
Jonas attacked Ayuso and Mas to gain one minute for podium and Kuss is still in Rojo. Anything else your mentally ill head wants to make up?
Questo attacca un suo compagno di squadra che è in maglia rossa di leader della classifica...per forza che non piaci a nessuno, caro il mio finto buono.
I think this is really disrespectul to Kuss. Jonas and Roglic could have supported Kuss up that climb.
And they could have end at 4-6. place. They want to win the stage for Nathan van Hooydonck.
If they had of stayed with Kuss who did not have the legs other team riders would of won, then gained time on the Jumbo leaders.
The best man should always win that’s what real cycling all sport or sportsmanship is about no matter if your name is Sepp Kuss or Jonas Vingegaard. It’s you who are disrespectful if you doesn’t want the best man to win. Beside Sepp Kuss is only leading because the other teams were letting Kuss get away in one of the first stages because they were only giving Roglic and Vingegaard attention because of that Kuss was winning a lot of minutes.
Super weird, I have never seen anything like that. Vingegaard reminds me of Rasmussen. That team will just explode.
Of Rasmussen? 😅
They’re 3 leaders. Let’s race and dry our 🐱s
Starting to dislike Jonas more and more everyday, the fact you attack the red jersey on your team 2 gc stage in a row when he has been helping you your whole time at the team, trapping roglic from doing anything himself. Roglic attacked and then dropped back to help sepp while the selfish Jonas just wants to win the tour.
Selfish Jonas...only Roglic helping Sepp.
Selfish ? Everybody would like to do this no one can. Jonas is great
@@Kanonka28 Without the team Pog wll crush him make no mistake about that
@@tonyg3091Pogi is the best the first 2 weeks Jonas kills everybody 3 week 👍🏻💪🏻
Lol not a change. Im dead, im gone isnt doing anything…
My thoughts:
Saying that jonas' attack was a good tactical move is in my opinion stupid, they had over a minut on everyone alse with THREE guys, so if any of them had problems, they could still go with one of the other two.
Saying that the strongest should win, well okay, but i don't think, that is your supposed teammate's job to affirm that you're the strongest. Cycling is supposed to be a team sport, so i think that this move from jonas wasn't really teamlike. If kuss was droped at any moment, jonas could still go with others if needed. That way it's just disrespectful to kuss and rog, firstly, becouse there is no need whatsoever to attack and "build a lead, just in case". I dont think that any of other teams can drop kuss tomorrow, even less all three of them.
Secondly, rog was supposed to be a leader for the vuelta, so i think it was a disrespectful move from TJV to even put jonas on a team, even less to let him race against his own teammates. Especially because rog was a guy that literally brougt this team to this megatram status that it has today. This way jonas and chiefs from the car are destroying this otherwise great team. If they had any respect for kuss and rog they wouldn't attack this way. And winning for Nathan, well yeah guys, gor for it, as if any could beat them in the finnish, no need to attack. So, if jonas actually attacks again tomorrow, i would be greatly disappointed by him and team leaders.
How are the odds of JV getting a tripple podium today vs yesterday? Much better... Good tactical move then, I think so.
@@simonrudbech1792 But this way they won't have any fans to care about very soon.
They have plenty. If they only lose the braindead fans it's only a good thing. Gaining one minute clearance for the podium today while keeping Kuss in Rojo was superb.@@_b0h4z4rd7
Little dictator strikes again. Where’s WADA?
Jonas is the most tested rider of them all, so do you have some inside information or knowing something that we don’t Mr. Vice guy!!!🤡🤡🤡
I really don't know why they can't let Sepp win. He deserves it
No one deserves a tour, the best rider wins a tour. That is such a snowflake comment coming from you.
I hope that the Vuelta is about letting the best man win and not about giving presents… I respect Sepp a lot, but in the end the best man is the right and fully deserved winner!
U don’t even know whether he’ll be able to win. U assure yourself the victory, u don’t gamble by betting on a guy who’s never done it before.
Guess who's in Rojo still after today while Jonas gained one minute on Ayuso and Mas. Be mentally ill elsewhere
Questionable from Jonas and TJV. Sure he wanted to win for his friend, but he shouldn't have attacked his leader in such a way. Why such a long range and dominant attack from distance? He had the legs to burn everyone in the last K. Not only did he give wind to the rivals, but also took the wind out of his leader's sails today. That's f**ked up.
Now TJV has two guys with a big gab to the nearest competition. TJV want to win the race and if Vingegaard is the saftes bet, they will go with him.
I think this was the plan all along. Today and tomorrow are the king and queen stages of this race. You can’t expect riders of the calibre of Jonas and primoz to give up a grand tour. Tomorrow just let them race at the bottom of the angliru, and the strongest will win
Jonas is the leader with Roglic, what's your point?
Kuss is an elite athlete win if he is the best......
Dont forget Roc and JV are the leaders on that team
Come on Jonas, that was not necessary bro

I’ll leave the conclusions for after tomorrow’s stage. But this was not nice to watch.
He didn't drag any of the GC riders from other teams and TJV is in a better place if Kuss has a bad day. And they won the stage for their team mate. Actually very nice to watch.
@@Nyelands You have a point yes, let’s see what happens tomorrow
the best man won
Wrong, it was awesome to watch. Fantastic to see the best in the game honoring the Vuelta and the sport in general by going all out, instead of treating the whole thing like a soap opera joke. The very idea of gifting a GC GT makes a mockery of the sport. Of course, Sepp Kuss, being an elite athlete himself, completely agrees with this.
@@jmsytbe Lol, I wonder what would “the best athlete” do in the Tour without Wout and Sepp.

If I was Sepp I would be furious and would attack myself tomorrow. 😡🇮🇪
Vingegaard lost a lot of fans here! What an hipocrasy - yesterday :"I'm going to work for Sepp", today attack my teammates to take the jersey!
@@simonrudbech1792There were no risk to lose the red jersey! Sepp finished with the GS leaders group! Jonas attacked his teammates and this was ugly, like it or not this is true.
He didn't lose any today, only his haters are grasping to find yet another thing to hate him for despite it being the best move for the team by winning a stage (for Nathan) and gaining one minute podium clearance on Mas and Ayuso.
