An incredible match; a perfect reminder to show why Pau Gasol is a legend in FIBA basketball. Anyone would have lost against a fantastic french team that just ... missed the key free throws. This was probably the best demonstration of Spain's mental toughness in these games, that Sergio Scariolo is still managing so well.

Nos leaders et notamment Tony Parker, si fabuleux, déterminants sur plusieurs matchs, sont passés à côté de cette rencontre événement (alors qu’ils avaient les moyens de gagner), devant leur public qui plus est, mais on ne leur en veut de rien tellement ils auront changé favorablement et pour jamais l’ADN de cette équipe. Bravo à l’Espagne et à l’immense Pau Gasol sur cette rencontre.

Este partido contra Francia fue sorprendente y maravilloso para muchos, y nos volvió locos de emoción al conseguir finalmente la complicada victoria... Uno de los mejores partidos FIBA de la historia

Agreed, I'm french and this one was a hearbreaker but you have to admire the toughness and the display of spain skills and mental toughness.... and Gasol greatness all game long. some France vs Spain are great classics of Fiba basketball.
