thanks for the enjoyable video. what do you use to film yourself for these videos? there were some drone shots and a shadow of the tripod in the sand dunes.
Enjoyed the video. Would you think that the griii is suitable as a pocketable camera for family life. I’m on the fence between getting the griii or something more purposeful (Sony a6400, Fuji xs-10 or xt-30 Ii). Any advice would be much appreciated
I think it’s a great daily camera but if I’m honest it’s focus isn’t the fastest and might struggle with family. If you can work around that I’d recommend but you may be better off with one of the Fujis mentioned - hope that helps!
I'd say... I often take my GRiii to the mundane stuff. To the supermarket with me as an every day carry or when I go to get some gas or drop off packages at USPS, but the X100V... is when I specifically intend to take pictures, or as a travel camera. I prefer the X100V, but the GR3 is *super portable* where the V isn't. I won't take my X100V on a date night with my wife, but I'll make space for the GR3.
I think I missed the window to get into the X100 stuff - it's simply too overhyped/overpriced now - pricier than the value those cameras provide. At the recommended OEM retail price, I'd probably pick up an X100V. Let's see what Fuji does. Anyway, it's more curiosity and affinity than a need that drives this for me. I got the GRII, the GRIII, the GRIIIx, countless small Micro Four Thirds bodies and lenses, an M10... At this point, it's pure decadence...
likewise... i'm thinking about the GRIIIx or X100V. if it was available at RRP i'd get the Fujifilm but i think i'm going to opt for the GRIIIx instead. i don't have the patience to wait and even the GRIIIx is slightly difficult to get at RRP.
@@danthe_cameraman just started to get into GoPros and photography after 2 years of shooting sunsets on my phone. I'm not interested in buying lenses. just a fixed lense to learn photography for the next couple of years. And i really want somethings that's compact for travelling.
Such a nice vibe! Really enjoyed the video and those drone shots are 🔥!
Thanks man appreciate your support!!
Just started watching and damn love the music and footage so far. Didn’t know you had a drone 😮
Haha thanks! I use it mainly for projects outside of YT but it makes an appearance on occasion - but thank you!!

Haha yes I used my trusty Panasonic S5 in combination with a GoPro 11 for this video

100% agree and pretty much do the same!

Didn’t realise the GR was also so popular now days too 🤯
I guess there is more demand for fun compact cameras
