Nice work Tyler. I’m imagining your scenery and trains around Horseshoe. It’s gonna look good. The camera idea in the tower is cool; especially overlooking the yard during switching.
Thanks! I'm getting started on the mountain on the curve this week so it shouldn't be too long till I have a progress update. If the camera in the tower works out, I may end up having cameras in multiple places on the layout.
this is a really cool layout. when you get horseshoe curve done you will have to add 100 people watching the trains go by. just like the may 19 meet and greet that will be there.

Thanks Drew! I'm not sure, I don't really know what kind of cameras work best. It would probably be some kind of webcam I could connect to my laptop so I could watch the feed live, but one that I just press a button and it records could work too. Then I could do some yard operations and upload the video so all the viewers would feel like they are in the signal tower themselves. -- Tyler
